    Community Health Assistant - (11 Posts)

    Responsibilities
    In liaison with the Public health officers and/or Technician; the officer will: -

    • Mobilize and create awareness on health issues in the communities 
    • Identify health hazards, and advise the communities accordingly 
    • Ensure proper waste management in respective communities 
    • Enhance best health and nutritional practices at the household levels 
    • Identify contravention of public health laws, policies and regulations and report to relevant authorities for appropriate action 
    • Participate in all community health integrated programs as assigned 

    Requirements 

    • Certificate/Diploma in health or health related field from a recognized institution 
    • Two years’ relevant experience 
    • Membership to a relevant regulatory body

    • Salary and allowances for all the positions is as prescribed by Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)
