Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist at Imara Mediplus Medical Centre

JOB SUMMARY
To cultivate a safe, secure and healthy environment for patients, colleagues and staff and provide exceptional quality care services to patients. and their family members.
To provide obstetrics and gynaecology services delivery in the hospital while ensuring that they meet the expected standards and compliance with the hospital and medical practice regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal services.
• Managing and review of clients for reproductive health both in the inpatient and outpatient.
• Admitting patients requiring special care followed by investigations and treatment.
• Collaborate with clinical colleagues and ensuring high level of patient safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide expert consultation and management for obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
• Conduct routine and emergency obstetric deliveries, including high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform gynaecological surgeries and minimally invasive procedures as required.
• Conduct patient consultations and diagnostic tests to assess medical conditions.
• Participate in marketing activities to promote the Hospital's brand and Train and mentor doctors and nurses
• Advice on strategy for department growth and participate in formulation of departmental SOPs
• Audit departmental performance and make recommendations for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery
• Msc Med in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council with a Valid Practice License.
• Certificate in ACLS, BLS will be an added advantage
• Professional Insurance Indemnity Cover as well as Proficiency in computer applications.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with in-depth knowledge and experience in Laparoscopy. JOB SKILLS
