The Dermatologist will support skincare product development, testing, quality assurance, and customer education. The role involves working closely with product, marketing, and research teams to ensure products meet dermatological standards and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development &Research
Provide dermatological insights to guide formulation and improvement of skincare products.
Review ingredients and recommend safe and effective alternatives.
Participate in product testing, evaluation, and documentation.
Ensure products meet regulatory and dermatological safety standards.
Customer Support
Offer expert guidance on skin types, conditions, routines, and product usage.
Support customer inquiries through consultations, events, or digital platforms.
Develop educational materials such as articles, videos, or FAQs.
Marketing & Brand Support
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure scientific accuracy in product claims and content.
Participate in product demonstrations, campaigns, and training sessions.
Train staff on skincare basics, product benefits, and common skin concerns.
Quality Assurance & Safety
Review product labels, ingredients, and claims for accuracy and compliance.
Advise on testing protocols and safety standards.
Analyze customer feedback and recommend product improvements.
Qualifications &Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Dermatology, Clinical Dermatology, or a related medical field.
0–2 years of experience (internship or clinical rotations acceptable).
Valid or pending medical registration/licensing in Kenya.
Strong interest in skincare science, cosmetic formulation, and dermatological research.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to simplify scientific information for diverse audiences.
