Designer – Flexo & Digital Printing at Human Capital Outsourcing Limited

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and technically accurate artwork for labels, packaging, stationery, and other printed materials.
• Prepare artwork for flexographic and digital printing in accordance with production specifications.
• Operate and work effectively with digital printing equipment and related design/prepress systems.
• Prepare files for production, including correct sizing, resolution, colour separation, bleed, trim marks, and other print specifications.
• Review and proof artwork before production to identify and correct errors.
• Collaborate with the production and printing teams to ensure artwork is suitable for the specific printing process.
• Make design amendments and adjustments based on client requirements and production feedback.
• Ensure consistency of colours, fonts, dimensions, layouts, and branding across different print jobs.
• Troubleshoot artwork and prepress issues that may affect print quality or production efficiency.
• Maintain organized design files, templates, and artwork archives.
• Work within production deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Stay updated on relevant design trends, printing technologies, and production techniques.
• Support the team in improving design and prepress processes to minimize errors, wastage, and production delays.

Skills & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in flexographic or digital printing.
• Demonstrable experience working with digital printing machines and production artwork.
• Practical knowledge of flexographic printing processes is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in relevant graphic design and prepress software.
• Good understanding of colour management, print resolution, file formats, bleed, crop marks, and artwork preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical errors before production.
• Ability to interpret client briefs and translate them into production-ready artwork.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
