Digital Learning Programmer at Zetech University

Job Objective

Will be reporting to the Director - Zetech Digital School.

Duties and responsibilities

• Creating and curating digital learning materials, such as e-learning modules, online courses,  and interactive simulations. 
• Providing technical assistance to learners and Lecturers, ensuring smooth operation of  digital learning platforms.
• Administering and maintaining learning management systems (LMS) and other digital  learning tools. 
• Training faculty and staff on the use of digital learning technologies and providing ongoing  support. 
• Analysing data from digital learning platforms to improve and tailor learning experiences. 
• Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital learning and integrating  them into the University offerings. 
• Working with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and IT staff to create  comprehensive digital learning experiences. 
• Ensuring that digital learning programs comply with educational standards and quality  assurance guidelines. 
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in  the detailed job description.

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/ Information Technology, Educational  Technology, Instructional Design degree or in a relevant field from a recognised/accredited  University.
• At least two years of training design experience creating blended learning solutions for both  instructor-led and self-paced training. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development  tools. 
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS): Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, etc. 
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. 
• At least two years of experience in instructional design is preferred.
• Experience using InDesign, Video Scribe and OT.
• Evidence of being a member of a relevant professional body.
