Drivers III – 2 Positions at Kwale County Government

Duties and responsibilities

• A driver of this grade will be deployed to drive a departmental at the county or at AMS 
• Driving assigned vehicles.
• Cary out routine checks on plants cooling system, oil, electrical and breaking systems
• Detect and Report any plant defects/malfunction of the vehicle assigned.
• Maintain plants work daily works tickets
• Ensure security of the assigned vehicles on and off road
• Driving vehicle on designated areas
• Any other duties as assigned by their immediate supervisors

Requirements for appointment

• A valid driving license with classes A,B,C and E
• A valid certificate of secondary education mean grade D and above or equivalent qualification from recognized institution 
• Attended a first AID certificate lasting not less than 1 week at St. john Ambulance or institute of highway and building technology or any other recognized institution
• At least two years (2) driving/operating experience 
• A valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya police and
• Age – Not more 45yrs old
