    Engagement Leader, EMEA Business Transformation Team (21000YVJ)

    Responsibilities 

    1. Lead cross functional “deal team” in a pre-sales/sales capacity across EMEA to close key cloud transformational consulting opportunities.
    2. With the main focus in the ECEMEA region, expand and work across the entire EMEA region to develop and close the most strategic and key “Cloud based” business applications consulting engagements. 
    3. Work as a part of a cross functional team developing the position of Oracle Consulting as the right services partner for selected clients to the wider Oracle business.
    4. Be the leader for Business Transformation Team with customers as well as internally through leadership and knowledge transfer acting as a Role Model for Oracle Consulting.         
    5. Reports to Senior Director of Sales, EMEA Business Transformation Team.

    Skills, Experience 

    1. Ability to create the “Transformation vision” with the customer (alongside license or stand-alone)
    2. Proven track record of successfully having lead an engagement where the customer met their business objectives through an ERP, CRM and/or HR on-premise to cloud transformation. 
    3. Typically, a senior background in both sales and delivery of transformation projects
    4. Understanding of the Key Success Factor’s for successful transformation to cloud.
    5. Ability to articulate Oracle Consulting differential Vs Big 4, SI’s and offshore service providers
    6. Inspire confidence with both License and customers that “we will deliver” the transformation project with added value and differentiation from other platforms.
    7. Understanding of the key customer contractual demands and position OC favorably against those demands
    8. Be able to understand and link commercial and operational positioning of transformation projects and proposals
    9. Actively contribute to the CoE within the EMEA Business Transformation Team

    Through the EMEA Business Transformation team the breadth and depth of skills and experience required for end to end digital transformation is available through a single point of engagement. The team is able to provide comprehensive leadership and delivery support through;

    1. Establishing the transformation roadmap, approach and plans for business and IT
    2. Development of new ways of working across the operating model, leveraging the modern best practices of the Oracle Applications
    3. Readiness and enablement of the business to adopt the new business process
    4. Design the new technical architecture including Data, Platform, Integration and operation
    5. Execute the platform and associated technical configuration
    6. Deliver and execute the business transformation/change activities
    7. Project manage the end to end program
    8. As a member of the Oracle Consulting, EMEA Business Transformation team you will have the opportunity to engage across the lifecycle of our customer’s Oracle digital transformation journey. Working collaboratively with teams from across Oracle sales, consulting, product development and cloud services and operations, to help drive Oracle’s growth as the leading enterprise cloud services company.

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    1. Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.
    2. Responsible for selling a sub-set of Consulting solutions and services.
    3. Drive gathering and reuse of IP in positioning Consulting solutions. Contributes to the achievement of a solution/business unit target. Has a good understanding of the relevant market.. Recognized senior solution expert internally and externally.
    4. Provides detailed expertise in creating technical solutions for specified needs and for creating cross-solutions where needed.
    5. Drive key strategic sales programs and initiatives in alignment with Licensee sales. Lead strategic account planning for major accounts where in depth knowledge of a solution set, including competitive offerings affect the long term objectives and strategy.

    12 plus years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Viewed as an expert in the field. Recognized authority and leading contributor in immediate business area/function. Work is non routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/ business skills. Bachelors degree preferred.
