Executive Manager (NGO) at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Requirements

• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, help funding and address any project challenges
• Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the mission and objectives of the entire organization (50+ employees)
• Provide outstanding leadership across programmatic activities by facilitating training
• Sign grant agreements and contracts with donors on behalf of the organisation
• Convene and chair management team meetings with Board
• Serve as the link between the Board and staff and ensure timely implementation
• Oversee the organisation’s operations to ensure efficient, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 7 years of experience in a leadership position, in an NGO
• Experience in strategic planning and execution at a senior level.
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
• Familiarity with public relations principles and practices, including the ability to represent the organisation publicly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally.
