    Fisheries Assistant II

    Ref No. CPSB/TTC/056/2022

    Duties and responsibilities 

    • An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of an experienced officer. 
    • Specific duties and responsibilities will be:
    • Participating in the provision of Fisheries Extension Services;
    • Collecting fisheries statistical data;
    • Maintaining fish farms and hatcheries; and,
    • Assisting in ensuring hygienic fish handling at fish landing sites, markets and farms.

    Requirements for Appointment 

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen; 
    • Have certificate in any of the following fields: - Fish management, Natural resource management or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; and,
    • Certificate of Computer application skills from a recognized institution
