    Head of Sales-Hotels

    Education, Experience and Skills

    • Multi hotel unit Sales Management experience at Director level, delivering results across differing markets and segments.
    • Team Leadership, management, communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
    • Ability to effectively influence multiple brand partners
    • Experience of working with global hotel brands (Accor/IHG preferred) and ability to align closely with and deliver on brand strategies.
    • Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to negotiate
    • Strong organizational and effective decision-making skills.
    • An innovative and curious mindset
    • Business acumen, ability to forecast, read and understand hotel performance to be able to provide bespoke, innovative solutions
    • Ability to support, develop and implement successful commercial strategies
    • Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond and thrive within a constantly changing and growing organization.
    • Ability to stay focused and be self-motivated, able to prioritize and plan own workload, work under pressure, manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines

    Job duties and function, include but not limited to:

    • To have Commercial Sales responsibility for directly managed hotels.
    • To assist sales team members in delivering structured strategic commercial support across your area.
    • Nurture existing and build trusted relationship across an Account Portfolio
    • Create and maintain a winning sales culture across the portfolio of hotels
    • Support hotels in the commercial planning process
    • Coach hotel teams to drive their sales KPI’s to achieve total revenue targets
    • Work with the country Head and hotel Commercial team to drive your area performance.
    • Engage with Brand partners to ensure the brand tools are being utilized and hotels explore all opportunities and engage in brand activity
    • Enforce salesforce compliance across the team and on property sales team
    • Ensure key annual sales processes are managed effectively, such as ‘Wish Want Walk’ rate submissions, the RFP process and business case/qualifier submissions
    • Recognize and reward performance, successes, and results across your area hotels
    • Performance management of teams to ensure maximum returns
