    The purpose of this role is to oversee the data management strategy, governance framework, and analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will drive initiatives to harness the power of data to drive business growth with the 4 Equity groups, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences & innovation in our quest to achieve our ARPP.

    Responsibilities

    • Data Strategy and Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's business objectives. Define data governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Data Architecture and Infrastructure: Design and maintain scalable and robust data architecture and infrastructure to support the company's data management needs. Evaluate and implement data management tools and technologies to optimize data processing, storage, and analysis.
    • Data Analytics and Insights: Lead efforts to extract actionable insights from data to drive business decisions and enhance operational performance. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify analytics requirements and develop data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
    • Data Integration and Management: Oversee data integration efforts to ensure seamless flow of data across systems and platforms. Develop data integration strategies and implement solutions to consolidate and reconcile data from disparate sources.
    • Data Security and Privacy: Establish and enforce data security and privacy policies and controls to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Implement data masking, encryption, and access controls to safeguard data assets.
    • Data Quality and Master Data Management: Define data quality standards and processes to monitor, cleanse, and maintain data integrity. Implement master data management solutions to ensure consistency and accuracy of master data across the organization. Monitor data quality, accuracy, and security to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including data models, data dictionaries.
    • Oversee data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions, as well as manage data storage, access, and retrieval methods to optimize data availability and performance. Assist business users to understand how they can utilize the data in a commercial manner.
    • Data Governance Committee: Chair the data governance committee to oversee data management initiatives, resolve data-related issues, and promote data stewardship across the organization. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on data governance activities and initiatives.
    • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party data vendors, service providers, and technology partners. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure quality and value for data-related products and services.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

    Knowledge and Experience Required

    •  Minimum of 12 years of experience in data management, analytics, or related roles, with at least 7 years in a leadership capacity.
    •  Proven track record of developing and implementing enterprise-wide data strategies and governance frameworks.
    • Strong technical expertise in data architecture, database design, and data modeling.
    •  Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, R, Hadoop, and Spark.
    • Deep knowledge of data governance best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a strategic mindset and business acumen.
    • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP), are a plus.
    • Proven leadership and people management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
