Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant (Nairobi) at African Christian Health Association Platform

ACHAP is seeking to recruit a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Assistant to be responsible for monitoring operations of the Christian Health Associations (CHAs) and projects’ M&E system to support program management and accountability functions. He/she will contribute toward the relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) department at ACHAP.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating across the available components of the CHAs and Project to ensure effective implementation of M&E/MIS.
• Ensure proper filing of M&E documents including questionnaires, monitoring reports, datasets among others
• Assist the CHAs/Project teams in preparing of relevant reports
• Prepare and maintain organizational database
• Prepare Issues Log and Risk Log for the CHAs/project
• Assist CHAs, /project staff during survey planning and implementation especially preparing logistics needed.
• Take a key role in data collection Automation and participate in data collection and cleaning.
• Assist in development of data summaries to help the project teams in report writing.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• · A Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Information Technology, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related discipline with 1-2 years’ experience in M&E.
• · Considerable experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection methods.
• · Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and production of reports.
• · Proven ICT skills, especially in the development of MIS software using database software.
• · Proven skill in phone-based data collection Applications e.g., ODK, RedCap etc.
• · Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software.
