Operations Manager (Wholesale Hardware) at Gap Recruitment Services Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Wholesale Hardware business
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize stockouts
• Manage and coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff and drivers to ensure that they are meeting targets and goals
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are being met
• Prepare and present operational reports, forecasts, and other relevant information to senior management

Requirements:

• Proven track record of successful operations management in the hardware industry
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Knowledge of construction materials and industry trends
• Ability to travel as required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the hardware industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
