Responsible for the coordination of site survey activities.
Job Specifications :
Educational qualifications – Bachelor’s Degree in Survey, photogrammetry and remote sensing; Geo spatial Engineering; Geomatics Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Previous experience in the construction industry is required (Housing and Infrastructure).
Proficient in use of survey equipment GPS, Total Station, Dumpy level and laser machines.
Knowledge and proficient use of current survey software applications is an added advantage.
Able to meet tight deadlines and schedules while maintaining quality, safety and profitability.
Ability to read and understand drawings/specifications.
Able to work within the project framework(s) and adhere to all Company guidelines and policies.
Good planning and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Job Summary :
Establishing ground survey controls including Traverse stations and benchmarks.
Setting out of structures.
To check the setting out of all other parts of the works.
Controlling structure, Networks and pavement levels using a level machine and guiding the site supervisors accordingly on how to achieve them.
Computation and compiling of quantities for Interim Payments Certificates
Ensure maintenance and calibration of survey equipment.
