Sales Assistant (FMCG / Packaging Material) at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Requirements

• Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager in achieving the sales target by providing relevant industry and customer information.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
• Following up on scheduled dispatches and updating customers on delays occasioned by stock or logistics constraints.
• Identify potential customers and contact them to schedule meetings to prospect for new business.
• Analyzing competitors’ products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success.
• Keep records of export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections, sales promotions, prices and maintain current information on legal requirements.
• Visit customers regularly to stimulate interest, build loyal and long-lasting customer relationships.
• Follow up on overdue accounts for collection.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales for FMCG especially packaging companies.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Must have proven capability to interact with clients.
• Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
