Senior Draughtsman at Judiciary of Kenya

Requirements

For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: –

1. A Diploma in any of the following disciplines: – Architectural Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
2. Registered with a relevant recognized professional body;
3. Proficiency in computer applications
4. Met the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

Experience:

1. Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Preparing draft technical drawings according to the given specifications;
2. Detailing of architectural and engineering plans;
3. Translating the architect and engineers rough sketches;
4. Carryout site measurements to allow designs to be done and drawings production;
5. Indicating dimensions and materials for new or existing structures being modified;
6. Preparing multiple versions of designs for review;
7. Compiling data and specifications sheets;
8. Revising drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements; and
9. Incorporating safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawing.
