Our client is new jewellery shop in Nairobi seeking to hire an experienced Shop Manager who will be responsible for handling the daily management of the operations of a jewellery store

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards in accordance with company guidelines
• Drive sales through effective floor management, product knowledge, and customer service
• Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder merchandise as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
• Train and develop team members on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service
• Handle all aspects of customer service, including handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Process transactions quickly and accurately, following all company procedures
• Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards in accordance with company guidelines

• Recollecting cash with sales receipts, and maintaining operating records such as records of store transactions.
• Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff
• Ensuring high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service
• Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in any relevant field
• Proven experience as a shop manager or retail store manager would be an added advantage
