Job Summary

• Our client in the interior design industry is seeking to recruit a creative, energetic, and results-oriented Social Media Marketing Content Creator to support its marketing activities at the Gikomba Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging social media content, showcasing products, increasing online visibility, attracting potential customers, and driving sales through effective digital marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, film, edit, and publish engaging product videos, primarily for TikTok.
• Promote products, prices, special offers, and new arrivals across various social media platforms.
• Develop creative content using trending formats, product demonstrations, and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain consistent social media activity to increase online visibility, audience engagement, and brand awareness.
• Engage online audiences, respond to customer enquiries, and direct potential buyers to the sales team.
• Work closely with the sales team to identify products and promotional opportunities to feature in social media content.
• Monitor content performance, customer enquiries, and leads generated through social media platforms.
• Stay updated on emerging social media trends and digital marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Training or practical experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in social media marketing, digital content creation, or a related field.
• Strong video filming and editing skills, preferably using CapCut.
• Good understanding of TikTok trends, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Confidence and ability to present products professionally in front of a camera.
• Excellent communication, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging content that attracts customers and generates sales.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
