Start-ups and Private Sector Development at Kenya National Innovation Agency

This position requires a professional with skills and experience in start-up development and start-up ecosystem. The person will provide strategic inputs in the growth of Kenya's open market innovation, start-up capacity development initiatives, incubation and acceleration programs, start-up funding, angel investor network development and venture capital funding systems.

Qualifications

in at least 2 of the following:

• Designing and managing startup programs.
• Founding, running or investing in successful start-up/enterprise.
• Developing or managing national start-up ecosystem initiatives.

Professional qualifications

• At least a Master's Degree in any relevant field with experience in the start-up ecosystem
• At least ten (10) years of either running or investing in startups/enterprises.
• Training in start-up related programs such as angel investment, incubation management, business modelling, value proposition design, design thinking, startup fundraising etc.
