    Stress Management Specialist for Field Staff

    • The Stress Management Specialist will submit quarterly reports detailing the number of staff and dependents supported, along with key observations and trends identified through these interactions. These reports will include general recommendations for monitoring staff well-being and, as relevant, propose measures to strengthen resilience and duty of care across the organization.
    • Based on insights gathered from individual and group sessions, the Specialist will advise the LWF World Service Human Resources Manager on emerging staff care issues and risks. Where necessary, the Specialist can recommend specific actions—such as enhanced support interventions or, in exceptional cases, evacuation—to safeguard the health and well-being of staff in challenging contexts.
    • The overall aim of the consultancy is to reduce health and welfare risks for LWF field staff, strengthen overall staff well-being, and reinforce LWF’s duty of care toward its staff members and their dependents in the field.

    Tasks / Scope of the Work

    • Hold online meetings with staff and their eligible family members to provide confidential support.
    • Arrange and conduct counselling sessions upon request from WS Human Resources or individual staff members, verifying eligibility through the staff list provided by HR.
    • Inform HR promptly when issues arise that require organizational intervention and recommend appropriate actions to safegard staff well-being.
    • Store all personal data securely and strictly maintain confidentiality in compliance with medical and personal data protection requlations.
    • Share general findings with HR and propose measures to improve staff care and resilience across the organization.
    • Qualification
    • Relevant university degree.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience from similar functions.
