Requirements for Appointment

For one to be appointed to this grade, he/she must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, International Trade/ Business /Relations or its equivalent from a recognized institution, and
• Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer.

• Collecting and compiling economic and trade related data;
• Disseminating trade information;
• Compiling data on recovery of loans owed to the Kwale County Trade Revolving Fund (KCoTReF);
• Facilitating trade promotion activities, programs; and product development
• Participating in the implementation of trade related development projects;
• Participating and organizing trade interactive forums and conducting business counselling sessions and trainings.
• Implementing the Kwale Biashara Centre Concept.
