    Business Development Managers (General Insurance Units)

    Our client an insurance company that is growing its client base wish to recruit an experienced, dynamic and innovative three unit manages for the Nairobi Agency to develop and nurture general business.

    Job summary:

    The jobholder will be responsible for developing and providing effective leadership for aggressive sales and business growth to a team of direct sales force.


    • To successfully recruit, train, motivate and provide effective field support to the sales agents and ensure retention of a productive sales force and attainment of set targets.
    • Identify, target and penetrate niche markets and create product know while driving continuous growth in the sales and surpass the set targets.
    • Offer leadership in terms of operational and service delivery to clients and promote a positive company image through excellent service delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with the including credit policy and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures on underwriting on all business transactions.  
    •  Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business related courses like insurance, sales or marketing.
    • At least professional qualification in insurance like COP or AKII.
    • Two (2) years’ experience in sales of financial products and a willingness to recruit and grow a competitive team.
    • A person with high level of energy and abounding self-confidence
    • High level of integrity and a risk taker
    • Self-motivated, passionate and commission driven person


    A performance retainer of Kshs 60,000.00 will be offered to the best candidate coupled with commissions on personal write up and an override on the agents sales.

    Telesales Marketiing Executives

    Our client a medium size organization dealing with capital goods (tools, machinery and equipment) is seeking to employ effective, mature, aggressive and self-driven who must excellent communicator with relevant superior people skills as TELESALES MARKETING EXECUTIVES.

    Job Summary:

    The Telesales Marketing Executives will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.

    The goal of this role is to support the company to grow business by developing existing business relationships and bringing in customers.


    • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts.
    • Answer questions about products or the company.
    • Ability to understand specific customer requirements and to turn grievances into sales.
    • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
    • Handle to preserve the company’s reputation
    • Help to meet sales targets and facilitate future sales
    •  Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
    • Answer questions about the products and the company and also understand customer requirements and close sales. Enter and update customer information in the database.
    • Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
    • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.


    •  Proven relevant TELESALES WORK EXPERIENCE preferably in selling tangible goods including capital goods is a MUST and a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
    • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
    •  Ability to learn about capital goods (products) and be able to describe/explain them to prospective clients.
    •  Ability to learn relevant computer programs (especially CRM software) and telephone systems.
    • Ability to take and process orders, keep records of calls, sales while separating and noting useful information that would lead to sales closure.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a great command of English and Kiswahili languages or any other foreign language is an added advantage.
    • A holder of either a degree or a higher diploma in any field of study including communication and business fields.
    • Must be mature, responsible, aggressive and a clear focus in his or her personal growth and development.
    • Cool-tempered, able to handle rejection and ready to work under little or no supervision with a good attitude towards work.
    • A team player with outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints


    A starting minimum salary of  Kshs 35,000.00 and attractive commissions will be offered to the best candidates.
