    Factory Engineer (Principal Engineer)

    Job purpose

    To coordinate and supervise the general engineering activities at the factory level.

    Primary responsibilities

    • Ensuring that preventive maintenance services for all liquid packaging machines, production plant and machinery and Motor vehicles are maintained in a timely manner as per recommended schedules.
    • Analysis of performance data packaging machines, production machinery or Motor vehicles for purposes of setting up mechanisms for continual improvement.
    • Ensuring that reported breakdowns are attended within shortest time possible by either internal or external capacity where necessary.
    • Coordinating implementation of projects related to various lines e.g., maintenance, packaging machines, procurement of vehicles are effected efficiently in liaison with the Assistant Manager – Projects.
    • Ensuring that minimum stocks of critical spare parts for the relevant lines are always maintained.
    • Ensuring that staff under the section are undergoing the relevant training to upgrade their skills and enhance performance efficiency.
    • Advise on the latest technology in the market to be deployed in order to improve on efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Ensure a schedule for buildings and civil works repairs and Maintenance is prepared and approved.
    • Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

    Qualifications and personal specifications

    • At least eight (8) years working experience of which three (3) years’ must have been in management
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production Engineering, Civil, Mechatronic or any other related field.
    • Master’s degree in engineering, Management or any other related field is an added advantage
    • Professional qualification and membership to the institution of Engineers or any other recognized body.
    • Proficiency in Computer applications, SAP will be an added advantage

    Depot Manager (Principal Warehousing & Logistics Officer)

    Job purpose

    To ensure effective and efficient administration of the operations at the depot

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Administration of the sales depot
    • Liaise with the Regional Sales Manager on ordering of stocks for the depot
    • Managing stock levels and making key decisions on stocks control
    • Ensuring availability of all company range of products as well as supplies at the depot (e.g. stationery) at all times
    • Managing and reconciling the inventory
    • Ensuring standards for quality, health and safety are met at the depot
    • Monitoring the movements of crates and containers and overseeing their cleanliness and handling to reduce breakage.

    • Master’s degree in supply chain management or business administration is an added advantage
    • A minimum period of eight (8) years’ experience and at least three (3) years in supervisory role
    • Member of professional body in good standing (KISM)

    Principal Internal Auditor

    Job purpose

    Assist in undertaking reviews of the company Business processes and provide assurance to management on the adequacy of the internal controls

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Participate in the development of audit strategies, policies and procedures and ensure effective implementation.
    • Contribute to preparation of the risk based annual audit plan for approval by the Audit & Risk Management Committee.
    • Prepare audit reports on completion of each audit engagement to ensure timely issuance to Management for implementation of recommended actions.
    • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of action taken to implement audit recommendations received from both internal and external audits.
    • Assist in preparation of quarterly audit reports to the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board.
    • Execute special audits/investigations.

    Qualifications and personal specifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance and Accounting option) or relevant field from a recognized university.
    • Master’s degree (Finance and Accounting) or relevant field from a recognized university is an added advantage.
    • Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (K) or its equivalent qualification.
    • Be a registered member of ICPAK in good standing.
    • Have a minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been at a supervisory level.

    Principal/Senior Accountant- Depot/Factory Accountant

    Job purpose

    To ensure timely processing of payments to suppliers, staff, and locations as well as administration of petty cash and treasury management. The position also ensures proper accounting of all stocks, inventory and fixed assets and monthly production for all categories

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee bank and cash reconciliation in their business units
    • Prepare summary production reports on a daily and monthly basis
    • Management of location stocks and staff in the section
    • Oversee the management of all revenues including sales and rent
    • Maintain the fixed assets register
    • Review and ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounting reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
    • Provide technical support to locational units during the budget making process
    • Interpret financial policies for sound financial principles, practices procedures for effective internal control

    • Carry out financial planning and consolidate department work plans

    • Verifying posting of payments and receipts in the cashbook for accuracy.

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting or Equivalent qualifications.
    • Master’s degree in business administration (Finance/Accounting) or any other relevant qualifications will be an added advantage.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA/ACCA)
    • Membership in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
    • A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least four (4) years in supervisory role.

    Principal/Senior Accountant- Credit Control

    Job purpose

    To ensure timely collection of debts from credit customers as per the credit policy and ensure proper posting into the SAP system.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage debt collection and monitoring credit limits
    • Ensure timely collection of all revenues including but not limited to Sales revenue and rent
    • Review expenditure returns from departments, prepare variance analysis and interpret financial policies for sound financial principles, practices procedures for effective internal control
    • Prepare and update debtors and general ledgers daily
    • Assist other departmental and sectional managers in the management of their budgets through regular provision of reliable up to date financial information
    • Review the coding of ledger and store items in the system to ensure that is accurate and sufficient
    • Prepare Bank Reconciliation statements for every customer daily
    • Verification of payment cheques, Mobile Money, EFTs and bank transfers.

    • Prepare debt ageing reports for decision making and advise management on way forward
    • Review vote book entries and undertake monthly variance analysis.

    Qualifications and personal specifications

    • Master’s degree in business (Finance/Accounting) or any other relevant qualifications;
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance/Accounting) or Equivalent qualifications;
    • CPA(K) & Certificate in Credit Management
    • Membership in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
    • Member in good standing of the Institute of Certified Credit professionals.
    • A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least three (3) years in supervisory role in a position in the Public Service or Private Sector

    Depot Supervisor (Senior Warehousing & Logistics Officer)

    Duties and responsibilities

    Senior Internal Auditor (Information System)

    Job purpose

    To give assurance to management that internal controls are functioning as intended

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Receive checking and analysing internal controls, operational policies and procedures.
    • Identify possible risks and making recommendations.

    • Have Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science/ Information Technology or in any of the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance or relevant field from a recognized university.
    • CISA/CISCO and Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (K) or its equivalent.
    • Minimum period of four (4) years relevant work experience in an Information Systems Audit.
    • Be registered member of ICPAK and ISACA in good standing.

    Reconciliation Clerk

    Job purpose

    To compile total sales and stocks issued to confirm accuracy and summarize data into the relevant records

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Reconciliation of stocks, wages, overtime, sales, money, banking, etc.
    • Issue stores items against stores requisitions
    • Maintain up to date records of stocks both in the SAP system and physically
    • Carry out physical stock taking and record in the bid cards
    • Maintain proper housekeeping in stores
    • Generate customer and salesmen/ladies’ payment including underpayment reports
    • Generate daily stock summary reports for decision making

    Qualifications and personal specifications

    • Diploma in Business management/Finance/Accounting/Economics or CPAII/ACCA II or its equivalent

    • At least two (2) Years work experience in a similar role
    • Computer literacy; SAP knowledge will be an added advantage
