    Product Development Officer - Agri Inputs

    Job Description

    A leading group in the Agricultural Industry, focused on life, sustainability and science, is seeking to hire a Product Development Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Interacts with the company’s sales management team, technicians and salespeople to develop, schedule and report status of projects.
    • Maintains contact with numerous industry personnel including growers, supplier salespersons, product technicians, customers and end users/buyers to identify new products or market needs.
    • Plans, coordinates and implements trial plan for assigned products, crops in assigned territory.
    • Visits trials, demo plots and identifies products to pursue, target, and market.
    • Identifies products to market.
    • Assists with trials at Multi location, multi season as needed.
    • Provides technical data including cultural and use recommendations on new products.
    • Identifies market segments with sales growth potential and recommend strategies for growth.
    • Coordinates and follows up on sales team trial efforts to ensure proper reporting and to assist sales team with trial evaluation as needed.
    • Supports downstream marketing initiatives in conjunction with the company’s marketing programs.
    • Assists in collecting information to resolve product performance complaints.
    • Collecting data on the competition varieties in the market, their traits and positioning.
    • Prepares comprehensive reports on trial performance.
    • Conducts training of the customers on usage and benefits of the products.

    Other Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture (advantage to Master’s Degree)
    • Minimum 3 years experience in the export farms with trials and report writing experience, preferably in the flower industry.
    • A valid Driving licence (a prerequisite).
    • Flexible to travel and stay out (sometimes up to 4 days).
    • Good understanding of plant nutrition.
    • Good understanding of plant protection.
    • 3 recommendations from key figures in the industry

    Sales Manager - Agri Inputs

    Job Description

    A leading group in the Agricultural Industry, focused on life, sustainability and science, is seeking to hire a Sales Manager.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Implementing an aggressive sale’s plan and ensuring sales quotas are met and exceeded while surpassing client service expectations (under direction of the department head)
    • Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
    • Ensuring quality of service to clients
    • Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls
    • Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services and generate new business leads and arrange meetings
    • Organizing demo plots on farms
    • Providing technical advice to customers on all aspects of the crop and specifics of our products, both before and after the sale
    • Meeting sales targets set by management and contributing to team targets.
    • Helping to set up product development plots for different needs of the company
    • Recommending and Developing new areas of business to management

    Other Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture (advantage to Master’s Degree /PhD).
    • Minimum 6 years experience in the export farms Sales of Agri inputs, preferably in plant nutrition products
    • A valid Driving Licence (a prerequisite).
    • Flexible to travel and stay out (sometimes up to 5 days).
    • Excellent understanding of plant nutrition.
    • Good understanding of plant protection.

    Food and Beverage Accountant

    Job Responsibilities

    • Overseeing the overall financial health of the restaurant.
    • Providing strategic financial guidance.
    • Analyzing financial performance and cost analyses for all departments.
    • Preparing monthly financial statements.
    • Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.
    • Assists with the installation and maintenance of any new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property and other related procedures and controls as assigned
    • Performs monthly close process including bank reconciliations, account analyses, and financial reports as assigned.
    • Works flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

    Other Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
    • 3 years work experience as an Accountant.
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
    • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
    • Experience with general ledger functions

    Food and Beverage Supervisor

    Job Responsibilities

    • Inspect kitchen equipment and oversee Kitchen operations.
    • Address any customer complaints or concerns regarding food preparation and menu offerings.
    • Coordinate food and Beverage options.

    • Monitor adherance to regulations.

    Other Requirements

    • Certficates in Food Protection Manager Certification (FPMC) and Foodservice Management Professional (FMP) is an added advantage.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, customer service and organizational skills.
    • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Supervisor or Related task.
    • Detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse personnel.
    • Self-motivation, the ability to work in teams, and multi-tasking.
