The Relationship Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring their financial satisfaction, ultimately driving business growth and retention.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling based on client needs.
• Customer Education: Educate clients on various products or services, ensuring they have a clear understanding of features, benefits, and terms.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly, maintaining a positive client experience.
• Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and relay valuable insights to the relevant departments.
• Sales Targets: Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to provide relevant insights.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback in the CRM system.

Skills & Experience

• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field
• Certification in relevant field
• 3 years experience working as a Relationship Officer
• Experience in working in different Department
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Experience in fundraising
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

Will be responsible for the development, performance, governance and administration of the insurance provisions for the organization to produce an efficient service and delivery solution, maximizing efficiency, performance and best value against pre-agreed targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of insurance professionals to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) in sales, service, and claims handling.
• Monitor daily operations, ensuring efficient and smooth workflows.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share updates, and provide ongoing support.
• Address and resolve escalated customer issues or complaints.

Performance Management:

• Set clear performance objectives for the team and track progress against targets.
• Provide feedback, mentorship, and training to improve individual and team performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize team productivity and achieve sales/service goals.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.

Customer Service Excellence:

• Ensure that all customer interactions, claims, or policy services are handled efficiently, adhering to quality standards and turnaround times.
• Promote a customer-first approach and ensure team members consistently deliver excellent service.
• Address complex or high-risk customer situations, offering timely solutions.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure all team members comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate issues.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations and ensure the team follows updated procedures.

Training & Development:

• Identify skill gaps within the team and organize relevant training programs to enhance capabilities.
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with team members to discuss performance, provide feedback, and plan development. • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.

Operational Efficiency:

• Collaborate with other departments, including underwriting, claims, and customer support, to improve overall efficiency.
• Help streamline processes and introduce best practices to enhance productivity and service levels.

Sales & Business Development:

• Assist the team in developing strategies for cross-selling and up-selling insurance products.
• Track and support individual and team sales initiatives to meet growth objectives.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Diploma in Insurance (DIPCII)
• Knowledge and Skills Business management skills.
• Insurance and individual hands-on experience for over 3 years.
• At least 3 years experience as an insurance team leader.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills Team leader/player
