    Relationship Manager

    Job Purpose Statement

    • Manage a portfolio of corporate customers; serve as their primary point of contact and financial advisor as well as prospect and acquire new corporate customers to grow the Bank’s revenue and share of wallet for the assigned industry in line with the Bank’s strategy.
    • Apply experience in corporate relationship management to develop and implement account plans for the existing portfolio within the assigned industry target market, recommend, structure and sell solutions that address the customers’ needs, with the support from the solution/product teams in order to meet assigned goals and target. Customer acquisition, satisfaction, growth and retention are critical to succeed in this role.
    • Collaborate with the Client Service team to ensure fulfilment of all deliverables.
    • Actively coach Client Service Managers in aid of their achievement of performance targets.

    Ideal Job Specifications
    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.

    Professional:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in Commercial Banking, 3 of which should have been in an assistant management capacity in a similar sized organisation.

    Desired work experience:

    • Proven track record of consistently achieving a portfolio’s financial growth.
    • Experience in products, bank operations and customer experience is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations. Sound working knowledge and understanding of general Commercial Banking regulations and practices.

    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field.
    • Professional Qualification CPA, ACCA, Credit Management will be an added advantage

    Professional:

    • Credit skills and Knowledge of SME banking products and policies is an added advantage

    •  6-8 years banking experience in a sales, customer service and relationship management

    Senior Relationship Manager, Premier Banking

    Job Purpose Statement

    • The Premier Plus Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for acquiring, servicing and managing HNW client relationships through one on one engagement, identifying client needs and providing them with the appropriate bank products, services and solutions. The Premier Plus Relationship Manager is also accountable for;
      • Driving revenue and volume growth of portfolio assigned
      • New to Bank client acquisition
      • Deepening of existing client relationships
      • Cross sell of products/ solutions thereby increasing their share of wallet in the Bank
      • Retention of existing customers
      • Increase of customer satisfaction levels
      • Delighting clients through providing excellent service which leads to increased loyalty
      • Adherence to bank policies, procedures & guidelines
      • Recommending, structuring and selling solutions that address client needs

    Ideal Job Specifications
    Academic:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
    • Master’s Degree will be an added advantage

    Professional:

    • Customer Relationship Management Course
    • Sales Course
    • CISI Certified Level 1 will be an added advantage
    • Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) will be an added advantage

    Desired work experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a service related role within a financial services institution.
    • In-depth knowledge of the local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations.
    • Good working knowledge and understanding of general commercial regulations and practices.
