    Marketing Admin

    The Marketing Admin is a hands-on role with primary responsibility for managing marketing vendors, while supporting the operational and administrative efficiency of the marketing team. With a strong focus on day-to-day coordination, this role also includes CRM updates, budget and expense tracking, workflow management, recruitment support, inventory and collateral coordination, and general administrative support as needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Marketing Vendor Management

    • Own and support the management of marketing vendors, including sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation support, tender coordination, payment follow-up, and quality assurance
    • Act as the main coordination point for marketing vendors to ensure timelines, deliverables, documentation, and communication are well managed
    • Support the onboarding of new marketing vendors and maintain organized records, documentation, and agreements

    Budget, Expense, and Financial Coordination

    • Track budgets, expenses, invoices, approvals, and payment status
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing budget and expense trackers
    • Support the Marketing Director in monitoring spending against budget
    • Work closely with Finance and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing, documentation, and follow-up of payments and approvals
    • Help identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or delayed approvals and proactively follow up to resolve them

    CRM, Workflow, and Operational Coordination

    • Update and maintain CRM records related to marketing activities and support the team in keeping information organized and up to date in relevant systems
    • Maintain and update the team’s project management system, including tasks, deadlines, owners, and follow-ups
    • Support day-to-day operational coordination across the marketing team to ensure smooth execution, visibility, and follow-through across projects

    Marketing Collateral Inventory and Coordination

    • Maintain and organize office marketing collateral and branded materials inventory
    • Track stock levels and help ensure marketing materials and supplies are available, updated, and properly stored
    • Coordinate reordering, distribution, and general upkeep of collateral and related marketing supplies as needed

    Requirements

    Experience

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in operations, procurement, administration, marketing coordination, or a similar hands-on support role
    • Proven experience working with marketing vendors, quotations, procurement processes, and payment follow-up
    • Proven experience in budget tracking, expense management, invoice coordination, or finance-related operational work
    • Experience supporting a marketing team or working in a marketing environment is a strong advantage
    • Experience with CRM systems and project management tools is preferred

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and coordination skills
    • Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities in parallel
    • Experienced in working across vendors, Finance, and internal stakeholders
    • Maintains strict adherence to processes, documentation, and compliance requirements, ensuring all activities are executed accurately and in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
    • Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, CRM systems, and project management tools

    Sales Relationship Officer

    Role Purpose

    • To grow a high-quality Avenews loan book through the acquisition of new agri-supply chain clients, onboarding, and relationship management, while driving uptake of Avenews’ premium financing solutions—ASF Express, Agri Supplier Financing (ASF), and Agri Business Financing (ABF). The role combines frontline sales execution with strong relationship management, ensuring clients are acquired, activated, retained, and continuously utilizing financing solutions.

    Role Focus

    • Acquisition of new Agri-supply chain clients
    • Growth of a quality, performing loan portfolio
    • Promotion and uptake of premium Agri-financing products
    • Customer relationship management and retention
    • Dealer/partner ecosystem activation

    Key Responsibilities

    Customer Acquisition – Agri Supply Chain

    • Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across the Agri-supply chain within key value chains: Inputs, Dairy, Poultry, Livestock, and Horticulture
    • Target and engage input suppliers, aggregators, processors, distributors, and traders
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified agribusiness clients
    • Convert prospects into active, financing-ready customers

    Relationship Management & Customer Experience

    • Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships
    • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
    • Ensure seamless onboarding and financing experience
    • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat usage

    Product Sales & Advisory

    • Promote ASF Express, Agri Supplier Financing (ASF), and Agri Business Financing (ABF)
    • Educate clients on invoice financing and cash flow optimization
    • Provide consultative, needs-based selling

    Loan Book Growth & Portfolio Quality

    • Drive growth of a healthy and high-performing loan portfolio
    • Ensure high-quality, complete applications
    • Monitor client performance and encourage responsible borrowing
    • Support portfolio quality through proactive follow-up

    Partnership & Dealer Channel Activation

    • Commercialize partnerships and generate business through partner ecosystems
    • Build strong partner relationships to drive deal flow

    Application Processing & Deal Follow-Through

    • Guide clients in preparing documentation (KYC, business records, invoices)
    • Ensure applications are complete and compliant
    • Follow through application to disbursement
    • Escalate bottlenecks and delays

    Loan Activation & Repeat Utilization

    • Drive activation of approved clients into funded facilities
    • Encourage repeat financing and utilization

    Pipeline Management & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline
    • Track conversions from lead to disbursement
    • Provide regular performance reports

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Number of new agri-supply chain clients acquired
    • Loan book growth (value and volume)
    • Portfolio quality (repayment performance)
    • Applications submitted and approved
    • Disbursement volumes (new and repeat)
    • Customer activation and repeat utilization rates
    • Conversion rates across sales funnel

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Agribusiness, Marketing or related field.
    • 1–3 years’ experience in field sales (financial services, agribusiness, FMCG or distribution preferred).

    Team Leader Sales

    The Team Leader oversees frontline Sales Officers (Account Executives), ensuring they deliver strong market coverage, high-quality loan applications, and consistent conversion across the sales funnel. This role ensures disciplined field execution, partner engagement, and close coordination with BD, Marketing, and Customer Operations to drive portfolio growth and revenue performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead, coach, and supervise Sales Officers to ensure daily productivity and disciplined execution. 
    • Set territories, manage weekly circuits, and ensure full partner ecosystem coverage. 
    • Drive partner commercialization: visits, activations, trainings, and ongoing engagement. 
    • Review loan applications for completeness, quality, and compliance before submission. 
    • Track conversion metrics, identify bottlenecks, and ensure a healthy sales pipeline. 
    • Oversee structured field circuits aligned to value-chain activity and partner demand cycles. 
    • Coordinate with BD, Marketing, and Customer Ops on partner handovers, activations, and documentation quality.

    Requirements

    • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Agribusiness, Finance, or related field. 
    • 3+ years’ experience in field sales, preferably fintech, microfinance, FMCG, or agribusiness. 
    • At least 1–2 years of experience managing field teams. 
    • Strong understanding of B2B and partner-driven environments. 
    • Proficiency with CRMs and digital field tools; willingness to travel extensively.
