Role Purpose

• The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and services. The role requires expertise in modern programming frameworks, cloud-native development, DevSecOps practices, and software engineering best practices to support the delivery of robust digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Build scalable and secure enterprise-grade solutions using modern development frameworks.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Implement application security controls and secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and application defects.

Architecture & Engineering

• Contribute to solution design and technical architecture discussions.
• Develop cloud-native and containerized applications.
• Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, performant, and maintainable.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.

DevSecOps & CI/CD

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery.
• Integrate security controls into development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to implement infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation.
• Monitor application performance and support operational excellence.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Support automated testing and quality assurance frameworks.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, static code analysis, and test coverage metrics.
• Participate in release management and deployment activities.

Cloud & Containerization

• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
• Utilize container technologies for application packaging and deployment.
• Support platform modernization initiatives leveraging cloud-native capabilities.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise backend applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and CI/CD delivery pipelines.

• The Mobile Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The role requires expertise in cross-platform mobile development frameworks, DevSecOps practices, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering principles to deliver exceptional digital customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using modern cross-platform frameworks.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and high-performing mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Develop reusable components, services, and application modules.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, microservices, and third-party platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.

Architecture & Engineering

• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Implement scalable, maintainable, and secure mobile solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development frameworks, and best practices.
• Contribute to mobile application modernization initiatives and technical roadmaps.

DevSecOps & CI/CD

• Participate in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployment.
• Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Support automated builds, releases, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure secure and compliant application delivery.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain unit tests and automated test suites.
• Perform application testing and support quality assurance activities.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security requirements.

Cloud & Platform Integration

• Integrate mobile applications with cloud-native services and APIs.
• Support deployment and management of cloud-connected mobile solutions.
• Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting application performance and availability.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers, and Architects.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing and deploying mobile applications using Flutter and/or React Native.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience with cloud-native application integration and automated deployment pipelines.
