The Program coordinator will formulate, implement, supervise and evaluate policy guidelines on planning and management of all activities, academic and otherwise, in the college.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Overall coordinator for the college of hospitality
2. Ensure the review and development of training curricula and coordinate the effective management of all academic and training programs;
3. Ensure that appropriate College policies and procedures are in place, applied and monitored, including those related to financial and staff management, health and safety, safeguarding, and equality and diversity;
4. Consult widely and communicate effectively with staff, students and stakeholders to ensure that the College follows best practice in all matters relating to education;
5. Be conversant with relevant provisions in the constitution and other laws and regulations that relate to education and teacher Professionalism;
6. Ensure the College fulfills its legal, statutory and regulatory requirements from government, regulatory bodies and funding partners;
7. Develop annual college work plans, budgets and timely reports on financial management of the college’s funds;
8. Implement proper and clear marketing strategies to ensure continued recruitment of new students within the set targets;
9. Participate and collaborate with other training institutions and stakeholders in establishing mentoring and internship opportunities for the students;
10. To represent the College, both externally and internally as appropriate;
11. Any other duties as may be prescribed from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must have attained a minimum Grade of B+ in KCSE and be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University
2. Must have at least two (2) years of Academic, Administrative and Research experience in a recognized Tertiary Institution;
3. Have an excellent understanding of current trends in College education and training in Kenya and globally, and a broad awareness of the factors and conditions shaping the development of tertiary education;
4. Ability to probe for, analyze and synthesize information, as well as express ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing;
5. Should demonstrate the ability to grow, support and develop young talents;
6. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, self-driven attitude towards work, and commitment to the mission of the college.

The IT intern is responsible for the implementation, enhancement, and troubleshooting of the Cytonn network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills with routing and firewall operations while maintaining a mind-set for high security. Maintenance and implementation of WAN technologies will be routine.

Applicants who are highly motivated, organized and capable to work with distributed teams, while also able to manage projects independently are highly encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, execution, and review of IT policies, plans, and procedures in the company.
2. Ensure timely preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with the organization's policies.
3. Ensure efficient management of organization IT assets and operations compliance with all statutory requirements.
4. Recommend acquisition of the latest software and IT infrastructure to facilitate the upgrade of the organization’s internal and external customer interfaces for reliable service delivery
5. Responsible for implementation, maintenance, and repair of the company’s network infrastructure and information system.
6. Responsible for Software maintenance and hardware repair.
7. Provide end-user support
8. Responsible for Server management, data, and group security policies.
9. Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies, such as communication systems.
10. Configuring hardware and software
11. Setting up peripherals such as printers or routers
12. Source, configure, and maintain computers (both Mac and PC); performing diagnosis and troubleshooting
13. Work at a help desk, answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems.
14. Responsible for writing reports, tracking inventory, evaluating new technologies, negotiating contracts
15. Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

1. Must hold a second class honors degree upper division and above in Information Technology / Computer science / Electrical or Computer Engineering or any other related disciplines
2. A grade of B+ in KCSE and above.
3. 2 or more years’ experience in managing sophisticated computer networks, network architecture and deployment
4. Deep knowledge of routing protocols and technologies. E.g.: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs
5. Experience with provisioning IP transit capacity and building MPLS networks
6. Experience in designing, deploying, and operating a high quality multi-pop IP network
