    Senior Manager: Research, Strategy and Performance Management

    LVSWWDA 2: REF:-LVS/HR/RSP/2/2020

    The position is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the following:

    • Preparation of draft policies, strategies and guidelines for carrying out research.
    • Assessment of Agency needs and consolidation of areas for policy and operational research.
    • Planning, organizing, coordinating, implementation and control of research activities.
    • Translate research findings into policy briefs for improvement of institutional delivery on mandate.
    • Collection and analysis of events and developments that have potential to impact the Agency’s business and preparation of regular reports and forecasts.

    The position is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for the following:

    • Development of multi-year master plan for water works and services by jurisdiction and County.
    • Preparation of draft annual work plans, budgets and performance targets for water works and services projects, activities and interventions.

    Corporation Secretary And Manager Legal Services

    LVSWWDA 3: REF:-LVS/HR/CSL/5/2020

    The position is responsible functionally to the Board of Directors and administratively to the Chief Executive Officer for the following:

    • Providing guidance to the Board on their duties and responsibilities and on matters of governance.
    • Assisting the Board in carrying out Board induction and training; updating the Board and Committee Charters; preparation of Board Work Plans; Board evaluation; governance audit; and implementation of the Code of Conduct and Ethics.
    • Facilitating the development, updating and application of the Board of Directors governance instruments.
    • Safe custody of the seal of the Agency and accounting to the Board for its use.
    • Maintaining and updating the register of conflicts of interest.
    • Ensuring that Board members are aware of all relevant laws affecting the organization.
