    Store Manager

    Job Purpose

    Maintain inventory of product within the supply chain and provide critical advice on the position of available stock and re-ordering levels at the different stages of the supply chain.
     
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining an inventory of product at all times within the supply chain. 
    • Providing critical advice on the position of available stock and re-ordering levels at the different stages of the supply chain
    • Reporting to the Managing Director on stock levels of raw materials and finished goods
    • Liaising with the Production section to determine orders as per sales requirements to determine stock levels required.
    • Analysing the depot orders based on monthly targets.
    • Analysing the depot stock-expiry and stock-variance analysis reports.
    • Managing the company’s crates.
    • Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

     
    Person specifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Materials management, Supply chain Management or business related field
    • Master’s Degree in related field is an added advantage
    • Professional qualification such as CIPS, CPA (K) or Diploma in Materials Management 
    • Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks (cumulative)
    • At least Eight (8) years’ work experience in supply chain management
    • At least five (5) years relevant experience in supervisory level in a similar organization
    • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

    Job Purpose

    Safe guard organizational assets, people and products.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out physical checks and inspection of the entire organization to ensure maximum security. 
    • Carry out conclusive investigations on incidents and accidents in order to create a safe environment and prevent recurrence.
    • Ensure effective gathering, analysis and dissemination of security related intelligence to safeguard against lapses in security
    • Conduct proactive investigations of security irregularities and suspected criminal activities and provide reports for decision making
    • Act as a link between the organization and the police in security matters.
    • Prepare and monitor section’s budget and forwards it to the Managing Director for approval.
    • Prepares weekly reports on the general security status of the organization to keep management updated on security issues.
    • Supervises the assistant Security Manager and the contracted security guards for efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Plan for and ensure consistent maintenance of all security equipment such as vehicle surveillance system, clocking in machine so that they are in good serviceable condition.
    • Review and update security policies and procedures and ensure full implementation
    • Institute security internal controls to prevent occurrence and recurrence of security threats
    • Constitute a disaster management team and offer leadership and training to the team
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

     
     Person specifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology / Security related field is an added advantage  
    • Master’s Degree in Criminology / Security related field is an added advantage  
    • Ten (10) year’s work experience in security or police service or in the Army
    • Eight (8) year’s experience in management position.

    Job Purpose

    Developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for New KCC through increased visibility, awareness and development of new products in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparing marketing strategies, policies, procedures, planning and coordinating implementation of the same
    • Preparing marketing budget and managing the same in line with planned marketing initiatives 
    • Developing plans and programs to bring onboard marketing agencies (advertising agencies, digital and media agencies).
    • Developing campaigns and other communications for brands and implementation of the same within agreed budgets.
    • Co-ordinating in-house research and subcontract external agencies to carry out market, product and consumer research.
    • Overseeing the activities of external advertising, promotions, events and marketing research agencies engaged in implementing marketing strategies
    • Co-ordinates, the evaluation and selection of creative & advertising, promotions and event agencies.
    • Identifying market needs and gaps in product development through conducting surveys and market audits.

    • Managing, tracking, analyzing and recommending growth strategies such as promotion and visibility for New KCC brand portfolio in order to grow brand shares
    • Monitoring brand performance and implementing appropriate plan changes through the year
    • Benchmarking New KCC brands with competition and developing effective counter strategies.
    • Developing pricing strategies for new and re-launched products in order to maximize the company’s revenue. 
    • Reviewing and recommending sponsorships and events participations.
    • Overseeing all promotions and advertising activities.

    Person specifications

    • Master of Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, business administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • A minimum period of ten (10) years relevant work experience and at least eight (8) years in senior management role in a comparable organisation;
    • Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks.
    • Full Member of Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) or its equivalent.
    • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Assist the Company to achieve its strategic goals through implementation of efficient and effective systems of acquisition of goods, works and services, as well as disposal of assets.

    Key responsibilities

    • Managing the tendering and quotation process as well as contract management.
    • Identifying potential cost-saving areas through competitive tendering and negotiations.
    • Ensuring suppliers meet pre-qualifications and comply with the Public Procurement Procedures
    • Leading, training and managing the procurement team towards delivering required results.
    • Managing the transaction approval processes of requisitions and PO’s.
