    Executive Director - Media Company

    Salary: 75,000 – 150,000

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Participate with the Board of Directors in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization
    • Identify, assess, and inform the Board of Directors of internal and external issues that affect the organization
    • Act as a professional advisor to the Board of Director on all aspects of the organization’s activities
    • Foster effective team work between the Board and the Executive Director and between the Executive Director and staff
    • Conduct official correspondence on behalf of the Board as appropriate and jointly with the Board when appropriate
    • Represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization’s community profile
    • Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization
    • Ensure that the operation of the organization meets the expectations of its clients, Board and Funders
    • Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization
    • Draft policies for the approval of the Board and prepare procedures to implement the organizational policies; review existing policies on an annual basis and recommend changes to the Board as appropriate
    • Ensure that personnel, client, donor and volunteer files are securely stored and privacy/confidentiality is maintained
    • Provide support to the Board by preparing meeting agenda and supporting materials
    • Attend strategy meetings and brainstorm on media buying initiatives and suggestions
    • Coordinate launch of media campaigns with marketing, communications, and sales departments
    Key Requirements and Skills
    • Degree in Business Administration, Business Management or mass  communication
    • Three years’ experience  in a media firm
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Good leadership skills

    Head of Marketing and Business Development - Media Company

    Salary: 50,000-100,000
     
    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Provide service leadership related to Marketing and Communications of business.
    • Ensure that high-quality services are delivered effectively, efficiently and consistently, whether it is direct or indirect communications.
    • Make sure that the businesses marketing communications promote the right message to maintain a good brand image.
    • Act as the lead officer in all Marketing and Communications activities
    • As the Head of Marketing, they will support the Director with their duties and also work within the management team to maintain the collective work to a good standard
    • The Head of Marketing regularly collaborates with the Director, and this is to help guide the Marketing and Communications together.
    • Motivate other employees to work with genuine commitment and achieve the specific targets of the business
    • Make sure that all the services are accessible, especially for the stakeholders so they can fully engage in the development and improvement of the business.
    • Managing the relevant budgets for Marketing and Communications spending. The income must be monitored to make sure that the resources are used efficiently to help achieve business priorities

    Sales Executive

    Salary: 40,000
     
    Summary: Our client a media and advertising company is looking for a sales executive who can do extensive marketing and bring revenue to the company.
     
    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
    • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
    • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
    • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
    • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
    • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
    • Gathering market and customer information
    • Representing their company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
    • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with the clients
    • Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
    • Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
    • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
    • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
