    Electrician - Machakos

    Role Objective

    • Full-Time Position
    • A premier business hotel located in Machakos is looking for a skilled, proactive, and dependable Hotel Electrician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems, lighting, and hospitality equipment run smoothly to guarantee an uninterrupted, safe, and comfortable experience for our guests.

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on hotel electrical installations, lighting, wiring, and power backup systems (generators/UPS).
    • Service and troubleshoot hotel-specific appliances, including kitchen equipment laundry machines, and HVAC/water heating systems.
    • Routinely inspect guest rooms, conference halls, and public areas to fix electrical faults promptly.
    • Respond swiftly to emergency power outages or equipment breakdowns to minimize guest inconvenience.
    • Ensure all electrical works adhere to safety standards and local regulations
    • Manage electrical inventory, including bulbs, switches, and wiring spares, and report replenishment needs.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and materials used.
    • Assist other technicians in general maintenance when required.
    • Any other relevant duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications and Qualifications

    • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized institution (e.g, NITA, National Polytechnic, or TIVET etc).
    • At least 3 years of experience as an electrician. 
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and safety procedures.
    • Candidates residing within or near Machakos are highly encouraged to apply.

    Chef De Partie-Bakery/Pastry

    Role Objective

    • Our client a premium hotel  is looking for a passionate, creative and organized Chef De Partie in Bakery/Pastry to take the hotel’s pastry section to the next level. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to elevate our corporate MICE (Meetings & Events).

    Core Duties and Responsibilities

    • Run the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring impeccable hygiene, organization, and food safety standards (HACCP).
    • Prepare, bake, and finish a high-quality range of pastries, viennoiserie, desserts, and VIP amenities. 
    • Plating a delicate à la carte dessert and prepping uniform pastries for a large corporate event.
    • Assist the Executive Chef in developing seasonal dessert menus and creative, upscale corporate coffee break packages.
    • Confidently craft high-quality alternative desserts to accommodate corporate dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegan, nut allergies) without sacrificing taste or presentation.
    • Manage inventory, minimize food waste through smart prep, and ensure correct portioncontrol to maximize the high-margin potential of the pastry department.
    • Responsible for the induction and on boarding of new hires.
    • Any other related duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications and Qualifications

    • Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts/Production or related area.
    • Minimum 3 years in pastry production in a busy hotel environment. as a Pastry Demi-CDP or CDP, ideally within a high-volume hotel or busy corporate hospitality environment.
    • Knowledge in HACCP.
