    IT Systems Administrator

    Role Summary:

    Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT System Administrator will be responsible for taking the lead on all system administration functions and developments while working closely with our external development team. The person must already have significant knowledge and experience in the systems that are listed under role-specific Competency.

    Main Roles and Responsibilities

    Strategy

    • Maintain a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction and product quality.
    • Handle change management
    • Ensure shortfalls in service availability, stability, chronic issues are recognized and appropriate corrective actions are identified and followed through.

    Support                               

    • Proactively monitor application systems by regular scrutiny of reports from the applications software or ticket trends/issues reported. Note problems, identify performance trends and provides input to optimize the service.                               
    • Responsible for day-to-day support and stability of service(s).
    • Investigate and resolve application errors, data discrepancies and queries.
    • Provide maintenance, support, and problem analysis/ resolution.
    • Troubleshoot and independently resolve low to medium complexity application issues.                                

    Development   

    • Escalation of Complex support issues and adherence to a set Escalation Matrix.
    • Provide Help Desk Support to users throughout the organization.
    • Manages problems and resolves support issues with a focus on root cause analysis to reduce recurring issues.
    • Identify solutions based on business process flows and express them both verbally and in written form (functional specification)                                                                                                             
    • Provide solutions to technical issues or requests which could involve developing a work-around, working with business to propose new and alternative operating procedures, producing additional documentation, or escalating requests to software vendor.

    Administration

    • Network Administration and management of internet resource usage.
    • Administration of IP Telephony /Phone system administration
    • Administration of secure access control and related security systems                                                                                                                                                                     

    Desired Qualifications /Proficiency

    • Minimum of 1st degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, from a recognized institution.
    • Be in possession of at least 5 years of experience in IT Systems Administration, of which 3 years should be on the MS systems outlined below.
    • A good understanding of Microsoft Enterprise products Specifically; Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft 365.
    • Microsoft Server and Client operating systems administration
    • Developing reports in Nav2013 or newer.
    • Page and Table changes in Nav2013 or newer.
    • Management of Azure AD and Windows Clients.
    • Management of Microsoft 365 environments.
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks, DNS, DHCP, FTP.
    • Networking configuration and management.
    • Knowledge and understanding of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS)
    • Experience with system and network security, authentication, and security protocols.
    • Azure and AWS DevOps experience a benefit
    • Strong MSSQL experience with an in-depth understanding of queries, functions, manipulation of data, server interactions, database types and field types.
    • Understanding of management and configuration of IP Telephony/Phone
    • Understanding of Help Desk Support operations (Zendesk would be preferable)
    • Excellent project management skills and strong interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, conflict resolution, analytical, influence, facilitation, negotiation and time and resource management skills.

    Product Manager

    Job Responsibility and Accountability

    • Develop a strategy for the assigned product portfolio.
    • Ensure product portfolio is relevant to the market based on local and global trends.
    • Ensure time-based strategy for any EOL models.
    • Maintain and update rolling forecasts for all products in line with sales & inventory levels.
    • Develop and maintain strong relations with suppliers to derive maximum value
    • Ensure proper contracts and SLAs are maintained with all suppliers
    • Negotiate with suppliers for specifications, MOQs, prices, terms and promotions.
    • Ensure suppliers have a robust quality control policy for the sourced products
    • Resolve any quality issues with suppliers to get timely support and rectification.
    • Ensure competitive pricing based on market intelligence and product strategy.
    • Ensure timely shipments in the most cost-effective mode.
    • Maintain inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
    • Maintain & Track market information on competitor products, pricing and trends
    • Have full product knowledge and impart the same to sales team.
    • Execute timely promotions as per annual marketing plan, based on supplier discussions, channel
    • Prepare annual purchase budgets based on strategic goals.
    • Create and update training materials.
    • Assist in conducting regular product trainings.
    • Assist with market survey reports.
    • Advice the sales team on stock situations as and when required.
    • Assist in development of sales promotions and other portfolio related marketing activities
    • Resolve any service issues from dealers.
    • Ensure correct pricing and descriptions of the products in the category
    • Ensure website listing of products is active and accurate.

    Qualification

    • Minimum qualification of a degree in business or any other relevant field.

    Experience

    • Previous experience in commercial, procurement or Sales. Preferably in similar industry.
    • Extensive knowledge of the channel management, forecasting and strategic planning.
    • Understanding of market trends and mapping.

    Database Administrator - Microsoft SQL

    Roles & Responsibilities;

    • Install and configure new Microsoft SQL Server instances
    • Ensure high availability including Always On availability groups, Replication mirroring and failover clustering.
    • Maintain secure access and database integrity.
    • Management, design and planning of physical data storage
    • Database administration activities including but not limited to;
      • Database management including backups recovery and maintenance.
      • Restoration of databases in different environments.
      • Monitoring and resolving blocking sessions and data lock issues
      • Check all statistics related to memory locks, I/O database response time, wait events top sessions and background processes
      • Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive activities.
      • Install SQL Server service packs and updates.
      • Archiving and partitioning
      • Updating statistics
    • Proactively monitor and maintain SQL Server jobs troubleshoot failed jobs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
    • Provide technical guidance for design, development, integration, and testing of production
    • Perform database performance analysis, tuning, capacity planning, system sizing and ongoing maintenance to ensure maximum performance.
    • Communicate and coordinate with other IT teams to successfully resolve support and maintenance Issues.
    • Create, document and lead in the compliance of policies, procedures, and standards for business continuity
    • Risk management of the database administration function.
    • Build and maintain a network of support structures (like the: vendors, employees, user groups etc) for consultation purposes and best practice adoption.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science and related field.
    2. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Certification.
    3. 5 Years experience in DBA roles- Microsoft SQL databases a MUST
    4. Experience managing Multiple databases in a large enterprise with many branches
