Young & CO. (E.A) is looking to recruit a SURVEYOR for one of its Projects.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out construction surveys and layouts on bridges, highways, foundation and other heavy civil
• Developing record drawings from field surveys and
• Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, reports and as-built
• Calculating heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
• Carrying out Construction layout calculations, Grade sheet computation, Topographical/volume analysis and Project datum conversion/transformation.
• Provides topographic surveys of construction site

Qualifications 

• Minimum five (5) years of verifiable Construction Survey experience and working with consultants or major
• Formal education/ training in this field with a minimum HND from a recognized
• Experience with related software and surveying equipment is preferred i.e. CivilCAD, Civil 3D and
• Background in the use of GPS, Total Station Robotic Survey
• Experience with AutoCAD/ Carlson
• Must be able to work outdoors & independently on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, focused, self-motivated, possess good work ethic and be a team player

We are currently looking to fill the positions of a SITE ENGINEER.

Qualifications 

• A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised
• Proficient in AUTO
• Must be a Registered Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK);
• A thorough technical understanding of road construction management
• With at least 5 years of successful work as a Site Engineer
• Experience in management of road construction projects
• Possess business etiquette with a strong work ethic, high level of honesty/integrity, results oriented and ability to deliver under pressure
