Enterprise Data Management ("EDM") is a process that seeks to ensure Data in NCBA Group PLC is accurate and consistent to meet the strategic and business goals. "EDM" has eight key capabilities

The BI Developer works collaboratively with end users to develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making. The BI Developer is responsible for the following:
- Detailed analysis, design and development of business intelligence systems, dashboards and reports.
- Using warehouse data and other data sources to solve organizational problems through reports, analysis and data visualization.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets as well as interpret the data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Analyze business/use case requirements to determine operational problems, define data modeling requirements, gather and validate information, apply judgment and statistical tests and develop data structures to support the generation of business insights and strategy.
- Make changes to system configuration and parameters to accommodate business and technological requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation/manuals on system configuration or setup

Academic:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related degree from a recognized university
Desired work experience:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting and dashboard design.
- Should have analytical, presentation & problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in dimensional modelling and report design techniques.
- Strong knowledge and experience with data visualization tools (SAP BI, OBIEE, Admin tool, Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, click view) is a must have.
- Experience with ETL tools (SAP Data Services, Oracle ODI, Miscrosoft SSIS, Talend), query languages(Oracle PL/SQL, SQL)

The Data Engineer transforms data into a format that can be easily analyzed, by developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation. In addition, the data engineer uses various data extraction, transformation and loading tools to convert raw data into usable information while applying best practice data warehousing techniques.
The Data Engineer is responsible for the following:
- Develop, maintaining, testing, evaluating and implementing data solutions in line with the data architecture design.
- Creation, scheduling, testing, deployment, and maintenance, of data pipeline from different sources to required destination with the required transformations for reporting (ETL).
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, maintain databases/data systems, and apply ETL procedures to normalize data.
- Gather information from business users to understand their detailed requirements and expectations, analyze business/use case requirements from BI analysts to determine operational problems, define data modelling requirements, gather and validate information, apply judgement and statistical tests and develop data structures to support the generation of business insights and strategy.

The Senior BI Developer will oversee the BI team to deliver reporting and dashboard solutions that meet the needs of the organization. The role holder must demonstrate accountability, flexibility and adaptability to handle different stakeholders, multiple and changing reporting priorities and be able to successfully collaborate with all key stakeholders.
The Senior BI Developer is responsible for the following:
- Lead BI Developers and oversee their development work, ensuring the data presented is accurate and meets visualization best practices.
- Ensure design of new and/or customization of reports and dashboards that effectively meet the needs of different audiences.
- Put in place process improvement measures that will lead to elimination of manual reports generation across the group.
