    Medical Devices Telesales Representative

    About the Role

    Ilara Health is seeking full-time Medical Device Tele-Sales Representatives to support the growth of the business and drive our outreach to clinics in Kenya. To meet our objectives, we are looking to strengthen our sales team and give you the opportunity to challenge yourself. You will play a pivotal role in achieving the sales targets and eventually generating revenue for the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve sales targets as set forth in the sales projections.
    • Manage time and expectations on your daily activities.
    • Manage your sales funnel by reaching out to potential clients and maintaining relationships in a very organised manner.
    • Ensure sales are conducted in accordance with documented processes and procedures
    • Ensure to only sell to customers that are able to pay for the products during the loan period.
    • Coordinate customer installations, while maintaining the agreed SLA.

    Financial Services Manager

    Job Summary

The Financial Services Manager will be responsible for building and managing our emerging financial products to support Ilara Health’s mission to build Africa’s primary healthcare network. You are an established leader with a strong background in emerging markets-startups and / or corporates who can work cross-functionally to build impactful and scalable products.

    What you’ll do

    1. Develop Ilara Health’s financial services strategy working directly with our founders
    2. Own the business unit’s P&L and related performance target accountability
    3. Manage Ilara Health’s growing loan portfolio and streamline risk management processes
    4. Create and maintain SOPs for the department and ensure ongoing integration with wider business operations

    Accounting Manager

    Job Summary

    The Accounting Manager will work under the Head of Finance. This will be a permanent role that will involve accounting, reporting as well as ensuring adherence to internal controls and statutory compliance.The ideal candidate should be well versed in financial principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and great attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities

    The Accounting Manager will be required to take charge of timely preparation of final financial reports, complex and technical accounting, tax compliance, cash reconciliation and managing statutory audits.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Manage the day to day operations of the accounting department including overseeing, coaching and training of a high performance accounting team

    1. Oversee preparation of monthly payroll including ensuring timely remission of all applicable statutory deductions (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, NITA etc)
    2. Build and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the month close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
    3. . Lead on tax optimisation, tax impact of corporate strategies and manage tax audits
    4. Perform comprehensive reviews of stand-alone and consolidated Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow in compliance with US GAAP & IFRS
    5. Oversee supplier, cash and bank reconciliations
    6. Establish consistent and effective accounting policies, structures, processes, systems and strong internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets, revenue and other resources
    7. Work with external advisers/consultants to ensure full compliance with all accounting, tax, and other statutory requirements in Kenya
    8. Support Head of Finance in preparation for and attending audit meetings as required (e.g. Entry, Exit, Status etc.)
    9. Perform the P&L variance analysis and working closely with Head of Finance to deliver insightful explanation on variances
    10. Support with any other tasks as assigned by the management/leadership team
    11. Others
    12. Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies and procedures
    13. Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility

    Requirements - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    1. High/Unquestionable integrity and Exceptional work ethic
    2. University degree in Accounting, Finance,Commerce /Economics or related field
    3. 4+ years experience in the accounting and finance sector
    4. . Audit experience - Big 4 preferred
    5. High level/general understanding of tax (corporate, personal, VAT and withholding tax) reporting requirements in Kenya
    6. Knowledge & experience working with IFRS /U.S. GAAP reporting
    7. Knowledge of financial controls and how to implement them
    8. Knowledge of how to perform and review reconciliations
    9. Strong leadership and good team management skills
    10. Experience working with reporting software, Xero, Quick books, Pastel, Sage, Oracle
    11. Highly analytical with high proficiency in Ms Excel
    12. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    13. Self-motivated, creative and a self-initiator, highly organized and results-focused
    14. Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product.
    15. Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over the same.
    16. Demonstrated ability to work with short timelines on deliverables and deal with multiple requests at a time

    Ilara Health is looking for a Graphics Designer responsible for the creation of visual assets that support branding, lead generation and product marketing needs. From concept through to execution, the Graphics Designer will focus on continuously improving the client and end user experience by bringing our brand to life and keeping it consistent across all our various touchpoints, online and off.

    Responsibilities

    • Delivering high quality work, with exacting standards for attention to detail
