    Art, Design & Technology Intern

    Position Summary

    Woodcreek School is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Art, Design & Technology Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both artistic and technological realms within an educational setting.

    Key Responsibilities for this Position:

    •  Assisting Art Classes: Support art teachers in preparing materials, organizing art supplies, and providing  assistance to students during art sessions.
    •  Design and Technology Support: Aid in the Design & Technology department by assisting with equipment  setup, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting students with project work.
    •  Creative Project Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to develop and execute creative projects that  integrate art and technology, encouraging students to explore crossdisciplinary concepts.
    •  Resource Management: Assist in managing and organizing art and design resources, including inventory  control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
    •  Student Engagement: Engage with students, offering guidance, support, and encouragement while  fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    •  Documentation and RecordKeeping: Help maintain records of student progress, project outcomes, and  contribute to the documentation of successful projects

    Requirements:

    •  Pursuing or completed a degree in Art, Design, Education, or a related field.
    •  Passion for art, design, and technology with a desire to work in an educational environment.
    •  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    •  Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
    •  Proficiency in relevant software or tools used in art and design (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, etc.)  is a plus.

    Teacher of Music (Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5)

    Position Summary

    Woodcreek School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Music to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, fostering creativity, musical appreciation, and technical proficiency

    Key Responsibilities for this Position:

    •  Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated music lessons to students in line with the British National Curriculum and examination board requirements.
    •  Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages students' musical exploration and development.
    •  Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to inspire a love for music and nurture students'  individual musical talents.

    Sound Technician Intern

    Job Description

    Sound Technician Experience:

    • Possess extensive experience in live sound production and studio management.
    • Handle and oversee various aspects of live sound production, including setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment.
    • Manage studio schedules and oversee sessions for recording artists.

    Technical Proficiency:

    • Demonstrate advanced skills in operating sound equipment, understanding acoustics, and troubleshooting
    • technical issues.
    • Ensure the proper functioning of all sound-related equipment and troubleshoot technical problems

    • Conduct routine maintenance and checks on sound systems to maintain optimal performance.

     Music Production with DAW Skills:

    Studio Management:

    • Effective management of recording studios, ensuring optimal functionality, cleanliness, and organization.

    Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

    • Quickly adapt to changing technical requirements in different settings (live events, studio sessions, etc.).
    • Efficiently resolve unexpected challenges related to sound equipment or studio setup.
    • Collaborate with team members to find creative solutions to technical issues.

    Qualifications:

    • Recently completed a Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field with relevant coursework in sound engineering, music production, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of sound equipment and audio technology.
