    Financial Controller

    Job Summary

    • Our client, an investment company focused on joint investments for its members through real estate investments, marketable securities, and private equity, is seeking to recruit an experienced and strategic Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and providing financial insights to support decision-making at the Board level.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and present accurate financial reports and management accounts to the Board of Directors
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash flow management
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements
    • Manage financial controls, risk management processes, and internal audit functions
    • Monitor investment performance and provide financial analysis on real estate, marketable securities, and private equity portfolios
    • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
    • Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory deductions
    • Lead and supervise the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations
    • Provide strategic financial recommendations to support business growth and investment decisions

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
    • CPA(K) qualification or equivalent professional certification
    • Must be a member of ICPAK in good standing
    • Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
    • Prior experience in real estate investments, marketable securities, or private equity is highly preferred
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and investment accounting
    • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information with integrity

    Assistant Accountant

    Job Summary

    • Our client, a trading company specializing in raw animal feeds, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Accountant to support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical and analytical skills, hands-on experience in reconciliations, and proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and make an immediate contribution to the finance team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records
    • Prepare and review bank, cash, supplier, and customer reconciliations
    • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
    • Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems
    • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
    • Handle withholding tax, VAT, and zero-rated goods transactions accurately

    Requirements

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • CPA Section II or above
    • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
    • Proven experience handling reconciliations
    • Strong understanding of withholding tax, VAT, and zero-rated goods
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
