    IT Administrator

    Job Description

    Reporting to the ICT Manager, you are responsible for managing, coordinating system technology in the entire organization as exploring and proposing areas of improvements in as far as IT technology is concerned.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Disaster Planning and Recovery- Analyze applications and systems backup policy procedures and disaster recovery plans.
    • Provide expert support (and system management where applicable) for assigned systems and applications.
    • Data Base and Application availability for all assigned systems and applications.
    • Maintenance and support of the IPPBX, Syspro Application and Database and/or any other systems running on the network both LAN and WAN.
    • Maintain a high availability of Routing, Firewall and Internet services.
    • Systems Operations and support and not limited to Servers, Applications and Databases but inclusive of KRA devices.
    • Coordinate with other IT staff appropriately to achieve excellence in overall ICT service delivery
    • Full involvement in testing new ICT products, equipment, services and technologies relevant to the company.
    • Provision of User Acceptance Test (UAT) environment in Technology user department
    • Train ICT equipment users with tips on how to work more efficiently and how to resolve common problems
    • Documentation development and maintenance of all the company applications
    • Ensure ICT Policy implementation and ensure ease of accessibility of Documentation
    • Periodically recommend relevant policy document updates i.e., every 6months and manage new version application of all of company system and relevant documents.
    • Carry out relevant employee Continuous assessment and Review Technology user competencies and recommend to management relevant user training needs.
    • Maintenance of relevant ICT Licenses, Contracts and SLA’s – i.e., Maintain ICT hardware and software inventory logs for the number of ICT equipment’s, licenses, versions and relevant ICT contracts
    • Any other duty assigned by ICT Manager

    Skill & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree, in computer science or other computer related degree.. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, with a specific focus on technical and system administrative roles.
    • Advance Knowledge in Linux/Solaris Based Operating System, Microsoft Operating System and window Server Management.
    • Demonstrated thorough understanding of Information Security, Networks, Enterprise systems, Capacity development
    • Knowledge of Laravel and Gninx will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of Syspro ERP.
    • Professional Certifications will be a plus; CCNA, MSCE, MCITP or any other certifications deemed for the ICT field.

    IT Manager

    Job Description

    Reporting to the General Manager- Finance, you are responsible for managing, coordinating system technology in the entire organization as exploring and proposing areas of improvements in as far as IT technology is concerned.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensures that all company business systems (IPPBX, Syspro Application and Database and plant systems etc) are readily available. And to coordinates efficient utilization of existing business systems.
    • Coordinates business systems integration within the network of depots
    • Ensures that business systems are secure from external and internal attacks or any form of interference.
    • Identifies training needs for systems users, conducts training and recommends external training where necessary, facilitates IT staff training.
    • Implements IT projects and new installations with project team members
    • Ensures that planned maintenance schedules are followed
    • Sets standards for suppliers, sources, and enforcers service lead by agreements with suppliers.
    • Plans, implements approved disaster contingency measures
    • Carries out business systems staff appraisals
    • Facilitates, follow-ups and ensures data backup are done and up to date.
    • Achieves agreed targets:
    • Product quality: 100%
    • Systems uptime: 100%
    • Systems downtime: 0%
    • Deadline’s control: Zero tolerance
    • Customer Service: 24hours turn around for resolution of complaints

    Extent of Authority:

    Over Staff:

    Consultations: The jobholder works under minimum supervision, leads staff to meet agreed targets and refers to the GM Finance for consultations.

    Job Complexity:  The jobholder is wholly accountable for the accuracy of information, efficiency of equipment and providing solutions to problems that might arise in the section

    Key Responsibilities

    • Overall, in charge of sales and collections of the assigned territory and accountable for steady growth of business on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
    • Expansion of the distribution network for better reach
    • Assist in the product planning process by providing relevant customers’ insights, strategic thinking and leadership related to all aspects of the business.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure optimal client retention

    Skill & Experience

    • A degree graduate preferably in sales and marketing with a minimum of 3-year experience in hard core selling in Mattresses.
    • Should have handled dealer network in a large area.
    • Candidate should have a track record of achieving sales and collection targets.
    • Should possess ability to track competition and take proactive steps to overcome challenges on the field.
    • Should be computer literate, able communicator, optimist, and problem solver.
    • Should possess the right attitude, with common, marketing, and commercial sense.
    • Should be having a driving license
