Sales Agents at Synnefa

Role Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Sales Agents to join our team at Synnefa. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling our cutting-edge agricultural products: FarmCloud, FarmShield, and Smart Greenhouses in Kiambu and Murang'a region. Your efforts will directly contribute to empowering farmers with technology-driven solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Execution: Drive sales from lead to close, meet targets, and provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Training & Onboarding: Educate farmers on product benefits, assist with account setup, and support onboarding onto FarmCloud.
• Farmer Engagement: Source and build relationships with farmers and local influencers in your assigned territory.
• Product Promotion: Market and demonstrate Synnefa’s solutions to drive awareness and adoption.
• Lead Management: Generate and qualify leads, documenting high-potential prospects for follow-up.
• Reporting: Maintain records of farmer interactions, training sessions, and leads; submit timely progress reports to your manager.
• Market Feedback: Collect farmer insights and share with internal teams to improve product relevance and outreach.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sales (agriculture sector preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical products in a relatable and engaging manner.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and Swahili (knowledge of additional local languages is an asset).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is a plus.
