    General Manager

    A Bit About The Role

    As the companys GM, you will be responsible for guiding the company to be the leading Payment Service Provider in Kenya with the expectation of delivering 100% YoY growth. This position is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Group Chief Revenue Officer, and you can expect to have a direct and indirect report across the different functions of the business.

    Requirements
    Your daily adventures include:

    • Work closely with relevant regulating bodies governing operations in the Kenyan Market
    • In conjunction with the finance & treasury team – track all finance-related KPIs: including but not limited to – revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, receivables, payables, reconciliation and settlement
    • Work with the Technology team to ensure there is sufficient capacity to take care of customers needs and deliver products on time
    • Work with the product team to define the product market fit of the various products on offer in the market by the company
    • Define global policies on key areas at a group level and implement them in-country (country nuances requiring deviation from global policies agreed between country & amp; group and added as addendums to policies)
    • Responsible for identifying key partnerships & customers necessary to drive growth

    What It Takes To Succeed

    • Degree in business, technology, or related field; a finance degree
    • Proven track record of having worked within large ecosystems and at the most senior levels of the organisation, including C-suite
    • FinTech/payments background
    • Deep Understanding of the payment’s ecosystem
    • B2B sales experience / Large account management experience
    • Software sales / technical/complex product sales experience
    • Experience with commercially scaling a country or a product within a short period of time
    • An understanding of Agile and Safe methodologies and how this drives and impacts working relationships and delivery

    Group Head: Product Marketing

    A Bit About The Role

    As the companys Group Head of Product Marketing, your primary task will be to define and refine the companys Product growth plans as it refers to their customer acquisition, coordinating and executing campaign programs and optimising customer engagement, retention and conversion rates at key customer touch points. You are a senior-level manager with both strategic planning and implementation functions. The marketing communications role is an intersection of Strategy, Product Development and Marketing. This role is critical in executing marketing campaigns that support demand generation for the companys products and increased product usage. This role works cross-functionally with design, engineering, analytics, product management, operations, and retail marketing to develop, design and execute product growth initiatives focusing on three core merchant products (Checkout, Pay-outs and Proximity) without ignoring other products like Bill Payments and their omnichannel.

    Requirements

    • Define a results-driven product marketing playbook/strategy that guides and informs the companys GTM approach for their different products
    • Establish a strong process for campaign execution, including determining spending and ROI periods

    What It Takes To Succeed

    • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 10+ prior experience in a similar role - managing campaign execution for multiple markets
    • 5+ years of direct work experience in a managerial role in marketing
    • Demonstrated experience in taking digital products to market and growing them
    • Demonstrated proficiency in digital marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions
    • Have run offline and online campaigns that have attributable growth for the product
    • Solid experience in managing ATL (above the line) and BTL (below the line) activities
    • Has built teams that comprise media buyers, data analysts, digital engagement, copy editors, and technical marketers
    • Demonstrated experience in successfully using marketing stacks to automate marketing campaigns and create linkages to product growth, including but not limited to:

    Senior Engineering Manager

    A Bit About The Role

    As the companys Senior Engineering Manager, you own the end-to-end delivery of one or more payment products and the teams that deliver the products. You lead the team from a software design, release, and maintenance perspective. Part of your responsibilities will be to lead a cross-functional product team with two or more tech leads with a significant impact product, each with 3 - 7 engineers owning the entire lifecycle of a product area.

    • Leadership: Lead the team to develop end-to-end software products to help businesses from different verticals create a suite of payment products
