    Network Administrator

    Job Overview

    Ezra World is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure across various markets, ensuring robust security, and supporting our diverse teams during market deployments. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the company’s network infrastructure across different markets, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
    • Design and implement network security measures, including the management of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security software/hardware to protect sensitive data.
    • Configure and maintain IPsec VPNs, ensuring secure and reliable remote access for employees and support teams.
    • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate and support market deployments, providing technical expertise and ensuring network requirements are met.
    • Proactively monitor the network to anticipate and address needs, performance bottlenecks, and other potential issues before they impact business operations.
    • Conduct network capacity planning to ensure that the network infrastructure can support current and future business requirements without any degradation of service.
    • Manage and support enterprise-level internet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), acting as the primary point of contact for internet service providers and other network-related vendors.
    • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base for the IT team and other stakeholders.
    • Provide training and support to team members and other employees to enhance their understanding of the network infrastructure and best practices.
    • Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends that could impact the company’s network and suggest improvements or upgrades when appropriate.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3+ years experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
    • 3+ years of experience with IP management and routing, Firewall Configurations, VLANs, IPsec VPNs, Networking protocols (BGP, EIGRP)
    • Professional Certifications in Networking such as CCNP, HCNP, JNCIS  or equivalent are highly desirable.
    • Professional Certifications in Network Security such as Checkpoint CCSA, Fortinet FCA.
    • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware with hands-on experience in firewall configuration, VPN management, and remote access solutions.
    • Familiarity with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
    • Understanding of network automation tools (Puppet, Chef)
    • Solid understanding of network security and best practices.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about network design and implementation.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

    People Business Partner

    About the role

    Reporting to the Head of HR Ezra, the People Business Partner participates in the deployment of the company's HR strategy. He/she is the guarantor of sound procedures and ensures their implementation.

    You will support in defining, validating, steering and deploying our HR policies in order to adapt resources to the company's needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Deploy global HR processes locally, taking into account local legislation and culture
    • Identify and cultivate talent throughout the organization, while implementing performance development
    • Provide solutions to all day-to-day HR management, drawing on your expertise in employment law
    • Supports managers in understanding employee relations and in organizing and developing their teams 
    • Actively participates in more global HR ad-hoc projects
    • Supports and contributes to the effective implementation of changes, taking into account the legal and social implications, while identifying the associated risks
    • Works to improve the employee  culture and engagement in Kenya as sole HR representative
    • Efficiently maintain and update HR trackers, generate periodic reports, and collaborate with the shared services team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

    What we are looking for

    • At least 5 years' experience in a business partnering role 
    • Familiar with working in a matrix environment with international labor relations
    • Good knowledge of labor law and litigation in Kenya
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Fluent in English (additional languages are a big plus)
    • Innovative, forward-looking and results-oriented
    • Strong self-starter, able to develop expertise in international labor law
    • Independent with ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 
    • Tech-savvy with proven skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
