    Manager / Clearing And Forwarding

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for all operational planning and administrative duties in the clearance and forwarding of Cargo.

    2. Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operation to meet deadlines.

    3. Act as a consultant in the customs, logistics and warehousing matters.

    4. Coordinate receiving of clearance/shipping document from customers.

    5. Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situation and other factors that could affect services to customers.

    6. Negotiate contracts, transportation and handling cost.

    7. Oversee preparation and processing of import/export warehousing and transport document through custom port authorities and shipping lines.

    8. Oversee arrangement of payment freight charges port storage/handling and other charges on behalf of the customer

    9. Take responsibility for custody and storage of the cleared cargo until it is delivered and received by the customer.

    10. Oversee timely preparation of billing statement of account and invoicing to enable effective management of payments.

    11. Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.

     

     

    Requirements for Appointment

    Manager - Retail Shops

    Managing Logistics in a cost effective manner

    1. Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Spearhead monitoring and designing of the most efficient and cost effective mail, parcel and EMS routing by land, sea and air delivery both locally and internationally.

    2. Develop, implement and review logistics policy.

    3. Lead staff in benchmarking to ensure that freight tariffs are reasonable and beneficial to the corporation.

    4. Oversee preparation of logistics and support plans

    5. Co-ordinate preparation of operating budgets for planned and new operations.

    6. Oversee the development and implementation methodologies and tools to enable effective execution of logistics plans.

    7. Spearhead the formulation of standard operating procedures.

    9. Ensure staff prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on the movement of PCK cargo by air, sea and land.

    12. Ensure liaison with all stakeholders to solve data irregularities and/ or inconsistencies.

    Assistant Manager - Legal (Litigation) Services
