    Hotel Sales Manager

    Responsibilities for the Hotel Sales Manager Job

    • The Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel.
    • Selling guest rooms, meeting space and other services to customer groups
      managing accounts, and conducting site inspections
    • Solicits and generates business.
    • Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizes systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate.
    • The Sales Manager will also participate and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings.
    • The Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff to in close contact with assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

    Requirements for the Hotel Sales Manager Job

    • Degree or diploma in hotel management, tourism or business related field
    • Must be Currently or in the past work/worked in one of Nairobi hotels (ideally 5* hotel) or at one of Nairobi DMCs (Tour Operators).
    • Position at hotel or at TO should be Sales manager (dealing with clients) for a minimum of 3 years
    • Energetic, passionate, business results driven

    Executive Assistant

    Responsibilities for the Executive Assistant Job

    • Helps key executives make consistent decisions by advising them of historical precedents; serving as liaison between them and the president.
    • Arranges corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; scheduling flights; booking other transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations.
    • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
    • Enhances GM’s and hotel’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Requirements for the Executive Assistant Job

    • Degree or diploma in business related field
    • Secretarial studies are an advantage
    • Must have 3 or more years in a similar position as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant.
    • Energetic, passionate, outgoing, well groomed, business results driven
    • Should be willing to relocate to Zanzibar immediately.
