    HR Officer

    HR Officer Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assisting the HR Manager with reviewing and developing relevant HR Manuals, policies, HR documentation and work plans.
    • Advising management and staff on a wide range of HR related matters especially on Policies and Procedures and employee’s code of conduct.
    • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
    • Process and review employment applications in order to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
    • Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews and also Interview job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them.
    • Coordinating and administering training and development programmes and liaising with external training bodies as required.
    • Administration and co-ordination of internal training programmes
    • Assist the management in performance management processes
    • Support the management on disciplinary and grievance issues and assist with preparations for disciplinary and grievance hearings.
    • Maintain employee records (attendance, contracts, personnel files) according to policy and legal requirements
    • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
    • Handling of disciplinary investigations, hearings, appeals and grievances and escalations to HR Manager for decision making.
    • Lead and manage various HR projects as directed by the Human Resources Manager and in line with HR objectives.
    • Support and co-ordinate manpower planning in line with company expansion.
    • Managing absenteeism through absence management policy for both short and long term absence in line with HR objectives.
    • Creation and delivery of HR related on boarding and induction programmes.
    • Assisting with employee relations; employee communications, facilitation and participation

    Qualifications for the HR Officer Job

    • BSc/BA in human resources, social studies or relevant field; higher diploma in HR will be an advantage.
    • Proven working experience for at least 2 years  HR officer, administrator or other HR position
    • Knowledge of HR functions (specially trade union and CBA negotiations)Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
    • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
    • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
    • Strong ethics and reliability

    Dispatch Coordinator

    Dispatch Coordinator Job Duties and responsibilities

    • Provide leadership role and managing the daily operations of dispatch department to ensure customer satisfaction is successfully achieved.
    • Manage orders and ensuring efficiency in packing and dispatch.
    • Maintain weekly stock take of the inventory in dispatch cold room against what is produced and provide weekly actual time data to production manager.
    • Coordinate with production department on stock levels to meet orders.
    • Ensure compliance with standard procedures and do quality checks.
    • Ensure no substandard goods leave the factory.Manage packers and fostering a positive team environment.
    • Dispatching orders in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure effective, safe, accurate  and timely completion of  vehicles loading
    • Controlling and managing product returns, damaged goods or missed deliveries.
    • Managing issues with non- stock items for orders.
    • Keeping records of all special customer requirements/fairs on a data base.
    • Recording and managing customer requirements for specific day deliveries, special orders for fairs and special customers.
    • Keep records and report to the management on a daily basis.
    • Proactively address and resolve issues.
    • Control distribution & co-ordination of events.
    • Ensuring proper maintenance of the cold chain throughout the delivery process and trucks conditions.

    Qualifications for the Dispatch Coordinator Job

    • A holder of a minimum diploma in business management, supply chain management or related course.
    • Should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a food manufacturing company.
    • Ability to lead, coordinate resources and staff in department is an efficient and time conscious manner.
    • Should possess excellent customer service skills.
    • Possess good communication skills both written and spoken.
    • Sound ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Superb organizational and detail and result-oriented.
    • Proficient in Ms- Word, Ms-Excel, Ms-Power Point, Outlook.
    • Be a holder of a valid and clean driving License
    • Trained on ISO certification will be an added advantage

    Quality Control Inspector

    Quality Control Inspector Job Responsibilities

    • Performs quality checks for all jobs in process to ensure they conform to the set specifications and standards
    • Recording and maintaining all PPC data and laboratory records
    • Monitoring, quality control checks online of scheduled jobs during production period and ensuring that they conform to the set standards of quality, and taking corrective action incase of any deviation.
    • Conducting tests and analysis in the laboratory.
    • Preparing necessary re-agents and standards colour guide to be used
    • Ensuring conforming materials are sorted out from non-conforming materials and are well labeled.
    • Approving of jobs before they move to the next step in production
    • Preparation of exhibition folders required by marketers.
    • Preparation of monthly reports Effectively attends to complaints and rejections from both internal and external customers
    • Maintains good house keeping habits in QC laboratory and production in process
    • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of quality, environmental, health and safety, and food safety management systems.

    Requirements for the Quality Control Inspector Job

    • Bsc. In Analytical Chemistry/ or an equivalent.
    • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a busy manufacturing environment
    • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
    • Superior knowledge and proficiency in computers
    • Good organizational skills
