    Financial Controller

     

    The ideal candidate Must have strong Credit Control Management experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reducing overall debtor days and minimizing the risk of bad debt.
    • Review and approval of In-House Financed Deals and following up to ensure collection
    • Preparation of AR Reports and highlighting exceptions
    • Regular review and updating of Credit Control SOPs and Policies
    • Authorize credit limits for customers as per DOA ensuring that the limits are defined in the ERP and followed by the business

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
    • Must be a CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist.
    • Must have over 10 years of PQE managing a busy credit control function.
    • Must have very strong excel & accounting knowledge
    • Must be organized and methodical
    • Good negotiation skills the ability with the ability to explain financial matters firmly and clearly
    • Good interpersonal & organization skills

    Animal Science Graduate Trainee - 6 positions

     

    The successful candidate Must be articulate, dynamic, confident, enjoys dealing with people from different backgrounds and naturally outgoing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure flock units are ready one week to placement.
    • Ensure dry, porous, pliable litter at any given time.
    • Ensure effective management of overtime hours at any given stage of flock development.
    • Ensure quarantine procedures are well understood and followed by all farm staff.
    • Make regular checks on the farm house feed stores.
    • Effective communication to team members on updates.
    • Ensure feed distribution is effected within the given time and as per the set standard.
    • Participating in any other duties that shall be assigned by the Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • A Degree in Animal Science or Veterinary is mandatory.
    • Must include a personal summary on the CV describing their personality.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and results oriented.
    • Excellent written and spoken English.
    • Must be willing to work outside Nairobi.
    • Candidates who have been exposed to leadership roles during their studies will have an added advantage.

    Junior Agile/Scrum Master

     

    This individual will be the facilitator for the Engineering teams that utilize Scrum and Kanban as their development methods. The Scrum Master will lead the teams with the primary goal of fostering a culture of sustainable and continuous improvement

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Runs daily, weekly and monthly agile rituals efficiently and strictly
    • Tracks work progress to identify blockages and developer divergence from allocated tasks
    • Blocks Business, Operational Staff and Product owners from interference with Development Structure.
    • Polices channels for submission of development work requests
    • Implements structure changes and strategy that are generated by agile retrospectives
    • High velocity communicator – making sure that all information regarding changes in scope, delays & other detrimental events are communicated to those involved with the piece of work as soon as they arise.
    • Blocks stories that do not contain the right level of detail from entering the Dev Structure
    • Blocks changes to work once in development without following the proper re-evaluation process
    • Removes blockers with extreme prejudice when raised by development team.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a ‘proven’ high degree of computer literacy
    • Must be a Certified Scrum Master
    • Must have a tertiary Degree in Commerce, IT or Engineering
    • Must have 1-2 years as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
    • Must have 5 years in Agile Development Environment
    • Must have experience running Scrum with JIRA
     Must have strong Leadership skills
    • Should have a strong track record of personal leadership and initiative
    • Should be a Self-starter, problem solver and fast leaner

    Senior Scrum Master

    Social Media Marketer/ Graphic Designer

     

    The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure and be a well balanced professional.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Executive Digital Marketing Strategy for the Business; manage social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snap Chat and Instagram) for the business
    • Manage brand visibility and loyalty online.
    • Carry Out Social Media and e-mail marketing.
    • Collect online Customer feedback.
    • Send out e-newsletters
    • Generate online quality traffic for the website.
    • Present progress reports to the head of department weekly.
    • Any other task assigned by the the head of Department.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any other related field
    • Must have more than 2 years’ relevant experience working in a fast paced environment.
    • Previous graphic design and social media management experience.
    • Must be tech-savvy, familiar with social media trends and able to maintain website backend.
    • Must be good in both photography and videography.
    • Must also be proficient with Adobe CS illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
    • Must have budget management skills
    • Must be able to work under pressure.
    • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be well presentable and articulate.

    Receptionist & Sales Coordinator

     

    The ideal candidate must be a people’s person, able to work in a high pressure environment and have worked with a CRM System.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serves as a point of contact for clients, including: screening phone calls, ensuring client messages are communicated to the appropriate team members
    • Formats and types a variety of correspondence
    • Assists team in preparation for client and prospect meetings
    • Maintain the CRM system.
    • Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management & filing

    Qualifications:

     Must have a degree in a Business related field
    • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role or ability to show capability to do the work independently.
    • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft office
    • Ability to contribute to team success by having a positive attitude to work
     Must be Self-driven and motivated
    • Good analytical and reporting skills
    • High level of integrity and honesty
