    Food & Beverage Account Manager

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set goals and objectives, develop sales/business plans, establishes strategies, develops account profiles and executes inside sales plan. Leads account teams on the highest-level accounts.
    • Applies excellent market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific, high-level target audiences.
    • Identifies and develops account penetration strategies which will increase SE customer's profitability.
    • Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through in-depth knowledge of customer's organization, mutually trusting relationship and account dedication.
    • Develops partnering and other account penetration strategies based on growing customer's profitability.
    • Setting up and updating the portfolio of projects and input of data in the necessary communication channel (Bridge Front Office).
    • Utilizes comprehensive product, competitor and customer knowledge to act as a consultant to high-level customer contacts regarding customer's long-range profitability goals and growth.
    • Assist tendering team by providing right pricing information in the market place including competitor activities.
    • Identifying new requests for tender and taking necessary actions before closing date.
    • Mapping out a commercial strategy that will boost the overall Business for Schneider Electric.

    Qualifications

    Key Requirements:

    • His/her focuses to organize and setup his/her work in order to reach the sales target given by his manager.

    Experience Skills and Experience:

    • Ability to build an environment and relationship of trust and credibility with customers, understanding customer needs and goal alignment, developing rapport with key contacts.
    • Has an understanding of the overall structure of the F&B sector in East Africa and thereby offers right solution for the right requirement that is measurable on a quarterly basis.
    • Ability to understand the customer’s technical and application needs, in order to promote the appropriate SE offer that meets the customer requirements
    • Ability to understand the customer needs and to position their needs in the value chain and competitive environment (market and competitors), in order to best promote Schneider Electric in the local market.
    • Ability to evaluate customer potential and to target customers (penetration, attractiveness, accessibility), in order to best allocate resources, verify opportunities and build customer action/ business plan.

    Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree with 5years’ experience
    • Knowledge in Electrical will be an added advantage

    Industry Product Application Engineer

     

    The role will be responsible for ensuring resources, competencies and capabilities are positioned to support the mission of a growing transactional business leveraging the distribution channel in particular.

    Objectives:

    • Maximise Control, Automation & Drives product sales by using technical competence to give credibility and support to our sales and internal teams and to our channel partners
    • Develop a rich opportunity pipeline with measurable tasks and outcomes
    • Promote the team within the sales team to achieve high utilisation
    • Equip our Distributor partners to be an extension to the internal sales force
    • Use of company tools such as the bFO CRM to manage opportunities and actions
    • By continual development, ensure a broad product knowledge coverage by the team

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work systematically with each channel/countries within the zones to create clear focus on resource deployment, up skilling, and enhance competences and capabilities.
    • Map the current state and apply the Industry Playbook and create actions to support the transformation to the future state where all offers are commercialized and available for sale and the sales teams are aware and able to make the offer.
    • To create action plans, business planning and review on a regular basis.

    Achieving Sales through:

              i) Prime route to sale in areas of highly technical consultative applications

              ii) Preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations

              iii) Identification of product differentiators

              iv) Adaptation of the Schneider offer to the customer application

              v) Advice to the customer regarding his process or solution

              vi) Design of innovative, ring-fenced solutions

              vii) System architecture design

              viii) Standards and legislation compliant solutions

    · Provide Customer Support by:

    1. Solving customer hardware, software and application problems in a highly abstractive, non-repetitive environment.
    2. Advising on the choice and application of Schneider equipment
    3. Bespoke training

    · Distributor and Integrator Partner Support:

    1. Assessment of skills
    2. Learning path definition
    3. Techno-commercial training
    4. Joint visits
    5. Roadshow/Exhibition Demos and manning

    Qualifications

    Skills and Experience:

    · Effective interpersonal and communication skills

    · Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively while delivering under pressure

    · Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

    · Be able to Work within approved budget, develops and implement cost saving measures and Conserve organizational resources.

    · Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

    · Technical & Commercial Skills

    · At least 5-7 year’s experience

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    · Accreditation and Affiliation with international Standards body and Engineering Institutes.

    Precription Engineer

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Deploy all prescription actions with consultants assigned, in order to maximize the business with them

    · Bring Schneider solutions directly to customers and understand customers needs

    · Build and secure relationship with Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) consultants in East African Markets

    · Promote visibility of Schneider in the local consultant network

    · Be a technical expert for Power Consultation business unit

    · Align the goals and strategies to accomplish short-term & long-term projects being specified

    · Build customers relationship with clear interaction and engagement

    · Have a clear view of customer channel and create opportunities for solution deployment

    · Regularly conduct training, coordinate with Marketing team to organize seminar/product launching for consultant network

    · Regularly update sales team on new knowledge of products, international/local standards to improve technical competency of the team

    · Report clearly on all activities as and when required

    Qualifications

    Key Requirements:

    · Able to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision

    · Willing to travel frequently

    · Fluent in spoken and written English

    · Good presentation skills

    Skills and Experience:

    · Proven network reference with Mechanical & Electrical consultant network

    · Strong knowledge on the design local and international standards

    Qualifications:

    · University degrees – Electrical Engineer

    · Minimum 7 years’ sales and prescription experience, preferably in Mechanical & Electrical consultant business

    · Have knowledge in project sales and project management

    · Good understanding of Schneider-Electric’s products and competitors’ is an added advantage

    · Accreditation and Affiliation with international Standards body and Engineering Institutes.
