    Client Service Officer

    Client Relations officer Job Responsibilities 

    • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
    • Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services.
    • Alerting the sales team to opportunities for further sales within key clients.
    • Letting customers know about other products the company offers.
    • Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts.
    • Achieving client relationship targets and KPI’s as set by the Head of Sales.
    • Working closely with Account Managers and Sales Consultants.
    • Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by clients.
    • Carrying out client satisfaction surveys and reviews.
    • Monitoring company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues.
    • Updating the CRM and ensuring account managers are aware of changes within clients.
    • Passing leads to the sales team and following up on progress.
    • Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively.

    Qualifications for the Client Service Officer Jobs

    Technical Team Leader

    Job Purpose:
    To direct all reliability and maintenance activities through autonomous, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure that maximum operational potential is realised for the entire plant operations. To direct and coordinate project activities of the company and also manage technical skills in electrical, instrumentation, mechanical (process equipment, packaging equipment), utilities systems including but not limited to; boilers, refregeration units/chillers, air compressors and diesel run power generators.

     

    Technical Team Leader Job Responsibilities

    • Optimize availability and safe operation of production assets through appropriate autonomous, predictive, preventive and effective execution of corrective maintenance practices.
    • Conduct special studies (Root Cause Analysis) as assigned or self-initiated to improve equipment performance, availability and reliability to enable product delivery on time and in full.
    • Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations and directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of process and instrument air, steam, electric power and chilled water/glycol required for operations.
    • Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labour and materials.
    • Maintains adequate inventories of spare parts and purchase materials, parts and supplies as required.
    • Ensures that projects are effectively resourced, are delivered on time, to budget and within agreed specifications. Also develops and maintains detailed project plans and manages project deliverables through timely project monitoring and evaluation.
    • Maintains function and reliability of utility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
    • Confers with Plant Operators, Maintenance Technicians, Production and Quality Lead and the Manufacturing Manager to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
    • Trains maintenance staff on effective maintenance practices, including effective use of troubleshooting and problem solving tools, risk and failure analysis, maintenance scheduling and analysis of maintenance related data and equipment histories.
    • Coordinates major maintenance and project requirements with production and maintenance technicians, to include major downtime activities and downtime periods and supports the effort to identify opportunities and develops the plant’s capital budget.
    • Performance Measures and Targets:
    • Adherence to agreed maintenance strategy
    • Improvement in maintenance cost structure – management of maintenance costs
    • Improvement in equipment availability, reliability and performance – OEE
    • Improvement in plant safety – manage OSH targets for Eng./maintenance & projects
    • Compliance to regulatory and statutory requirements; DOSH, KEBS, KRA, NEMA
    • Present Engineering/Maintenance report during DOR meetings
    • Present Monthly Eng./Maintenance and Projects summary report during MOR meetings
    • Monthly OSH summary report for Eng./Maintenance and Projects
    • Status of initiated equipment and machinery improvement projects.

    Qualifications for the Technical Team Leader Job

    • Minimum of 8years experience in FMCG sector in a busy food or beverage manufacturing set up.
    • Experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment preferably in beverage or food manufacturing.
    • Knowledge in the following areas: PET bottle moulding and high volume packaging machines, mechanical operations, electrical, instrumentation, electronics/controls, utility systems including but not limited to boilers, air compressors, electric power generators and refrigeration systems.
    • Knowledge in Computer packages especially design and statistical packages.
    • University degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics, Chemical & Process Engineering.
    • Engineer registered by the Engineers Board of Kenya
    • Trained in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Auto CAD, Process Design
    • Trained in Energy Management Systems; Registered Energy Auditor, OSH inspector
    • Trained in Project Management
    • Trained in Six Sigma; yellow/green/ black or master black belt
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrams, or schedule form.
    • Knowledge in PET bottle moulding and high speed packaging machines preferably in beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
    • Technical skills coupled with knowledge and proven application of OSH systems; Fire Safety, Electrical safety, First Aid, and manufacturing safety systems.
    • Excellent in data analysis/Pareto analysis, report preparation and presentation.
    • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skilfully, develops alternative solutions, and works well in group problem solving situations
    • Works within approved budget, develops and implements cost saving measures, contributes to profits and revenue and conserves organizational resources.
    • Develops project plans, coordinates projects, communicates changes and progress, completes projects on time and budget and manages project team activities.
    • Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments, commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals, completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate persons with an alternate plan.
    • Displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process and makes timely decisions.
    • Prioritises and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, plans for additional resources, sets goals and objectives, organises or schedules other people and their tasks and develops realistic action plans.
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality, applies feedback to improve performance and monitors own work to ensure quality.
    • Approaches others in a tactful manner, reacts well under pressure, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position, accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments.
    • Observes safety and security procedures, determines appropriate action beyond guidelines, reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses equipment and materials cost effectively.
