    Project Manager

    Project Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Perform and ensure that the Project Management Lifecycle of any given project is completed i.e. Business development, Project Initiation, Requirements gathering &Planning, Deployment & Testing, Pilot and Closure
    • Proactively identify and re-assess the required decision making, problem solving and/or evolving changes in the project as the demand/ situation progresses
    • Manage stakeholders’ expectations on the respective project’s investments, requirements, performance and deliverables
    • Identify and analyze the respective project’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action
    • Participate actively in business development in the related projects and industry
    • Resolving cross-functional issues at project level
    • Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work
    • Monitoring project progress and performance
    • Must maintain project IT related documentation and updates
    • Coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders

    Qualifications for the Project Manager

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Telecommunication Engineering
    • Minimum 3 years working experience as a Project Manager preferably in FINTECH (Financial Technology) field
    • Certified or undergoing certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2)
    • Experience in using Project Management Tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) to implement and monitor respective projects and deliverables
    • Experience in managing projects that require coding/software development
    • Experience in managing and monitoring projects effectively and efficiently, resulting in the successful implementation, timely reporting and analysis, and profitability of the respective projects especially in the software development life cycle
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

    HR Assistant

    HR Assistant Job Responsibilities

    • Assist in assessing Staff Training needs
    • Manage the recruitment function including job advertisements, interviews’ scheduling and shortlisting using the aptitude tests
    • Staff induction – Coordination of company induction program for all new employees
    • Coordination of internal training arrangements; including invitations, itineraries and resource persons of all technical and HR based training programs
    • Administering and assisting of facilitating selected internal training programs
    • Assist in the design and delivery of staff training program curriculum and training calendars in consultation with the HR Manager
    • Updating and maintaining employee records in an accurate and timely manner, both electronic and physical.
    • Monitoring of employees leave records and ensuring timely reports.
    • Receiving and distributing the incoming mails for the HR.
    • Logistical Organization for meetings, HR events, training venues and materials.
    • Maintain and update filing of employee records in an accurate and timely manner, both electronic and physical.
    • Registration of casual workers and verification of casual workers payroll
    • Mitigating and solving casual worker related issues on site in consultation with top management

    Qualifications for the HR Assistant Job

    • Diploma in Human Resource Management
    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position
    • Men are encouraged to apply
    • Experience working in construction company is a plus
    • Conversant with the employment laws of Kenya
    • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure
    • Possess strong communication and presentation skills, and problem solving skills

    Finance & Admin Assistant

    Finance & Admin Assistant Responsibilities

    • Assist with financial reporting as needed, including organizing office finances in coordination with the Finance & Admin Manager
    • Assist the Finance & Admin Manager with the office support systems including negotiations with vendors and service providers in the most cost effective manner.
    • Payment processing, matching requisition to invoices and LPOs, ensuring they are duly approved subject to approval limits.
    • Managing petty cash
    • Assist with filing of statutory deductions
    • Ensuring all appropriate documentation for any cheque payments are adequately filed.
    • Ensure expenditures and supporting documents are in compliance with donor’s regulation/audit requirements and coded correctly.
    • Coordinating and supporting during audits
    • Respond promptly to stakeholder needs, and solicit stakeholder feedback to improve service quality
    • Support other staff members as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Finance & Admin Manager

    Qualifications for the Finance & Admin Assistant  

    • Degree in a business related field with a CPA qualification or equivalent.
    • Experience in the nonprofit sector (NGO) desired.
    • Proven numeracy and financial analysis / planning skills.
    • Ladies are encouraged to apply.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present financial matters to non-financial managers.
    • High degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office products especially Excel and financial systems (QuickBooks).
    • Experience of establishing good working relationships with a variety of people.
    • Proven track record in delivering results in a pressurized environment.
    • Administration skills.
    • Culturally sensitive and ability to adapt easily.
